One Tree Hill: The Complete Series (Seasons 1-9)

We love the show, the cast/characters. There are a lot of protagonists/antagonists that balance off well. Extremely well written. That being said, the DVDs themselves when "sold by and shipped by Amazon" work perfect, remastered by WB beautifully. Watch out for the other vendors who save you a few bucks. The freezes and sticks come from them being single layered and copies. Anyway, you do not need to be into basketball or care about it. It will consume some time because every show needs a theme to work the lives of the community/players around. Football (Fri Night Lights), Melrose Place (all neighbors), something in common. In the beginning I loved the single DVD seasons v. some two/three bulk cases. I generally loathe them to be honest. But nine of these cases and various sizes are a nuisance. You pull out one or another TV show next to it and one or two fall! As you fuss around, another one falls to the floor, etc... My set did NOT come with what looks like a heavy duty display box that is useable. Mine came in a huge plastic wrapped bundle ; then each season wrapped in a single box that was shrink wrapped. All 100% legit copies. Note that WB hasn't touched this show since the one 2012 release albeit they have likely pressed more sets and simply packaged/ produced more as needed. Enough on that, I didn't take off a star since I assume most people got the display box thus the issue doesn't exist. Very happy with this great series. A+++ show!!

I loved this series when it was on air with the CW and introduced me to many wonderful recording artists I wouldn't have known otherwise. A must watch and helped remind me of simpler times too. Highly recommend.b

This is a fun show with great acting and characters whom you come to love. I wish it had never ended.

OTH is one of the best series ever made. If you love to rewatch your favorite shows like me, then get this DVD set! They constantly take great shows like this off platforms (like Netflix, Hulu, etc) all the time, so having these DVDs is the best thing

I took a chance despite all the bad reviews. Glad I did. Pretty happy with the set! So far all the cases look good and aren’t broken, I haven’t yet opened them all. I have opened the first season and all the disks are in good condition. Also the picture quality is great.

Came as expected. The only thing that bothered me was season 7 casing came w bit damaged but nothing too serious so I deducted a star. I read previous reviews and it stated the cover box didn't come with the order so I wasn't expecting it. Although, I agree with others as it should be taken off because it is false advisertisment. Other than that, I love my purchase! OTH is one of my favorite TV shows as well as a comfort show that I go to when I'm stressed. So glad to finally have it on DVD!!!

I was skeptical because I had read other reviews saying that the box or boxes the discs came in were crap and wouldn't hold up. Mine came in a box for each season and they were all in wonderful condition! I have wanted this series since the beginning (I was a very faithful watcher from the very first episode) but I was much too young to buy them when they first came out (8 years old) and when it came time for me to get it they were much too high separately (and I could never find the first few seasons in stores). I am very glad I purchased this item and have since watched the series completely through a couple of times!!
