This covers the entire screen in both directions to about the finger nail size gap on each side

The screen has a (light) self adhesive on the back side, which is not seen when the screen is attached. Do not touch the back, handle the screen by its edges gently.

Q: Is the screen hazy after install?

Negative. In fact it's clearer with the screen protector on it. It also increases touch sensitivity. Used to really push down hard or had to tap multiple times to get theapps to open. Now it's one tap and your good to go. As an added bonus if there's still any hesitation those little fingerprints you see all over your screen the protector is more resistant to fingerprints. Used to constantly wipe down my screen. I hardly wipe my screen at all now. Not sure why the screens on the C7's (mines a Z51) are so prone to leaving fingerprints? This protector will fix that.

Q: Does the screen protector interfere with the up and down movement of the screen when opening or closing it for the hidden cubby?

It does not interfere with the up or down motion of the screen. Just be careful when installing. I was checking fitament on the screen with the protector and it slide down into the area below the screen. I will have to get someone to take the dash apart to remove it.
