Not all caulking is the same and this is the choice of so many pros for a reason. I have used hundreds of different types of caulking in my career and this is just on another level. There’s a reason so many pros use this you don’t get those shiners where once you paint over you get a big glowing spot eventually like you do with other caulking. it’s so flexible and the big thing is how long it last for even in the baking sun and extreme weather.For the slight price difference, I just can’t think of any good reason to use another lower form of caulking anymore, it is really that well rounded and that good! Last for years and years, haven’t had one bead fail yet like most brands do after a year, especially when exposed to heat and cold. This product has insane amount of stretch, just the compression will cause a bulge so plan accordingly. That is why adding some backer rod is super cheap and makes a massive difference, don;t skip on backer for larger cracks over about 1/3” when on wood or any other expanding/contracting materials.***Pro Tip*** when caulking, even just a little, purchase a tile sponge and get it wet, they are only $2. You can then use that as your wipe off tool. Once you are about the spread the caulking with your finger, dab on the wet sponge first. Then once done spreading, use the revers side to wipe off the excess from your hand. Then when all done, you can just rinse the tile sponge under some water and you’re good to go and can use it over and over and over. This and keep your lines really clean and also the job site and your hands clean of a mess.

This is diff than caulk in a good way it dries faster has a little flexability to it color is perfect. Wont bleed . I built up a wall about 2inches to route water away and it worked fabulous i am so very pleased. Little pricy but i think it is worth it im very pleased

purchase a case of this on recommendation from the Oregon painter. it is very nice caulk to work with and I do recommend it.

I've used this sealant for interior paintworks and exterior jobs and it has worked wonderfully.Some shrinkage in applications where it is in direct access to the sun but other than that, not had any problems with this product. I found it first sold at Benjamin Moore - a high end paint store. Found it cheaper at Amazon - my go to for repeat purchases.
