Perfect edition.
Perfect product for a backup cameraon my Jeep JK i could keep the spare and I don't have to use a tire cover with a hole in it.It works perfect where it is and couldn't be more satisfied

The view is clear but by it being off center view can be misleading

Beware!
Terrible! After all that work running the wires and mounting the camera, all I see are distorted, black and white images split into 12 sections! Very disappointed

It works so far
I like the idea, and I’ve owned other Red Wolf products, and they are good, not great by any means, but good. I appreciate the on and off option for the parking lines. The image is ok, it doesn’t fit exactly right, which was what I ran into with my F-150 Tailgate handle camera. Installation was more difficult, because I had to sand down the gap between the camera and the light. It wasn’t the right size for my 2007 Jeep Wrangler with the factory plate mount. I would buy it again, but know this before purchasing for your own sake of trying to figure out why it won’t fit

About a month installed....
Originally seemed like it was going to be the way to go. A cheap solution to the jeep not having one. After about a month of use, stopped working completely. Have tested multiple wires going to it, but come to determine the camera is faulty. The image quality is subpar and not worth the money. Buy once cry once, buy a better camera or you will end up spending more time later.

Its ok
Was a bit of a pain to replace the oem light with this, the camera is not that good. Color on display is off and you have to bend the camera braket a bit to see your full rear coverage area

Great idea
Product seems really well made but it doesn't fit the license plate bracket like the original. I have trimmed and trimmed and cant get both clips to snap into place. As far as night vision, my camera doesnt have any IR's or LEDS to assist with night vision it relies on my backup lamps which is great. In reverse I get horizontal lines on the radio display.
