Great solution for hanging up hardware on hollow-core doors
Wonderful. Easy to use. I use them in hollow-core doors in our house. Previous failed attempts to hang towel or robe hooks and bars resulted in multiple screw holes and wood damage. They seem a little on the high priced side, but they save a lot of aggravation so are completely worth it. You will need to drill a pretty size-able hole in your door to get these going, 5/16”. Again, no with that either.

Used for a coat rack on the back of my door
They work great for those cheap hollow white doors that most American homes have for some reason. The hole you have to drill is a lot bigger than I would have wanted just to fit the thing in though, and they are screwing you over charging $8 for only a 5 pack. For that price it should be at least a dozen or more.

Great anchor for use on HOLLOW DOORS
Needed to secure a full length mirror to the back of a hollow door. Do you think the big box stores had ANY type of anchor that would work? NO! These worked great & my mirror is now firmly secured.

Great anchor for hollow core doors or thin materials.
Watch the video on YouTube about how to use these anchors. The instructions on the package are almost impossible to read, and what you will be looking for is what to do with the red “key” that comes with the anchors. The video makes it crystal clear. Frankly, I’m not sure a straightened paperclip won’t work better than the tiny plastic key, nor am I even convinced the red key is needed at all. I broke one red key off in the anchor, which had zero effect on driving the screw in to set the anchor. The other key worked as shown in the video, but then I dropped it on the carpet somewhere and it’s MIA. But, these are really excellent anchors for attaching a relatively heavy object to a hollow core door. So much so that I’m going to use the anchors to hang a guitar on a closet door. No, the door won’t be opened and the guitar crushed.
