Very nice tree. Yes, grafted but a sturdy & healthy trunk. Tree is 12” tall with 5” in the small planter (17 inches total). Plant got bent in shipping but that’s because plant was I tad too tall to fit on box - no problem.Great colors! Soil was moist & planter wrapped tightly in clear stretch plastic- not a crumb of soil leaked out!It’s already in the ground - arrived 4hrs ago. Actually arrived 4 days earlier than anticipated. Was shipped very fast.I’m very hapi with this one !!

I bought 3 different maple trees which all came together in 1 box, none were labeled as to what it was nor listed as a grafted tree. One tree description did list it as a grafted tree. Contacted the vendor 2 times and never heard back from them. 2 of the 3 trees died after 9 months which was summer and they should have been doing great. I transplanted all of them into larger pots and they all gained leaves in the spring. I did not put any of them in direct sun. Very disappointed in this order and response from vendor.

Item arrived in good time, packaged well and wrapped in plastic to keep in moisture. I was nervous the plant was going to die as the leaves were tiny and beginning to droop. But after replanting into a new container (waiting for weather to warm up before outdoor planting) the tree has doubled in foliage, and is looking strong and healthy!

I would love to give this seller a 5 star but my packaging left a lot to be determined. The box was dented and busted in and halfway open when I got it. The first photo is of the tree straight from the box. The second is how it looks today 2 weeks later. It's beautiful and filling out nicely I would definitely recommend this seller!!

I wanted a small Japanese Maple for Bonsai which is mentioned in the ad. The tree I received is in great shape and i will plant it in my yard but WAY to big for a Bonsai sadly.

The tree came very healthy and well packaged for the travel. My dad is a Japanese bonsai and maple tree fanatic but hurt his Achilles recently and could not do much for months. He asked if I can located the maple tree with bright red trunk and yellow leaves….I thought he was nuts. Sure enough found it on Amazon. This tree brought his spirits back and now he’s very excited about his plants again. Will ask him to send pics each year of this tree.

All the leaves fell off in the first week. The tree was obviously packaged in a dark box and by the time it arrived, the tree was in bad shape as the leaves were brown and stressed. I should have sent it back but was willing to give it more time to recover. No such luck. That’s a lot of money for the tree plus the shipping expense.

Happy with product. I read the descriptions , comments and reviews prior to ordering. The plant is grafted. It appears healthy and arrived in good shape. Assuming is survives here, it is an excellent product for the price.
