Anti scalding valve
Works very well. Water heater is kept at an extremely high temperature via a hydronic system and this allows water to be delivered at a safe temperature to the fixtures- Adjustable to what you want.

Smooth, Solid, Quality Feel WiseWater Thermostatic Mixing Valve
The media could not be loaded. I want to clarify that there are different options available when purchasing this valve. Typically, it comes with 1/2" threads; however, I mistakenly ordered the 3/4" option and will need to use reducers for my project.Functionality: This 3-way valve blends hot and cold water to maintain a safe, pre-set temperature, which is essential for preventing scalding in showers. It features a red button that must be pressed to exceed 100°F for safety.Construction: The valve is made of sturdy brass with chrome plating, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance, which contributes to a high-quality feel.Temperature Control: The clear Fahrenheit scale markings allow for easy and precise temperature adjustments.Overall Impression: The WiseWater Thermostatic Mixing Valve is a well-constructed and user-friendly choice for temperature control in both home and commercial settings.Considerations: Proper installation is important. Be sure to read the instructions, conduct online research, and consider consulting a plumber if you're unsure. However, the installation process is fairly straightforward. Regular maintenance, such as cleaning and checking for wear, will help extend the valve's lifespan.Note: While the valve has 3/4" male ends, many supply lines typically have 1/2" threads or, in some cases, even 3/8". Before installing, check the thread sizes of your input and what you are connecting to ensure compatibility.Seems like a competitive value. Leakage: I am still in the planning stages of my project, and I want to have as many materials on hand; therefore, I haven't connected this yet, but I have decades of experience in remodeling, and I have no reason to suspect issues it feels smooth and stable quality part of something that you might find in an upscale hotel or custom home.I hope this review is helpful!

low water pressure
Works as intended, no problems there. But it restricts the water pressure horribly. This is ONLY for a single point of use!!

Excellent, exactly what you need for high flow projects.
I cannot say enough good things about these valves. This is the second one I have purchased. If you know anything about themostic mixing valves you know how expensive they can be, and that they are weak with dirty water. This model solves both of those issues, it is affordable, and it has embedded water screens to filter out debris that can make the valve faulty. This is a 3/4" model. The most common are 1/2". I have had a hard time finding 3/4" models for a decent price. I use these to mix hot water to outdoor hose bibs - flow rate is extremely important to me for this application. These devices provide all I need in spades! This also has a safety stop, that will require you to press the red button and turn the temp up to a scalding temperature. It is a good feature if you are installing in an automatic sink for public use.I will be buying more of these, I highly recommend them for the price.Fo you hydronic folks - I have not tried this valve with glycol in a boiler system. Would love to hear feedback on that!

Looks good
I installed this, but ended up not needing it, so I can't comment on extended use/functionality.It does look and feel like a well-made valve. It's heavier than I expected and everything threaded together nicely without any leaks. There's a detent at 100° for temperature selection. The button and adjustment work smoothly. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the top adjustment "knob" feels its plastic instead of metal, even though that doesnt affect it functionally.

Seems pretty accurate
Ran it through a trial run before I install this over the new water heater, the temps on the dial seem accurate so far.It does include some stainless steel screens over the inlets for hot/cold, but I will personally be removing them, as the plumbing up to this stage is all-new, and the system is fed by an automatic backwashing filter + fine mesh filter anyways. The reason I mention this, those screen do seem to add a bit of unwanted (in my case) resistance. The water supply is being boosted to 65psi and I was noticing a slight, but tangible drop with the screen in place while using more than two fixtures. With only one shower running, there was no noticeable change.Overall very happy with this valve, I am looking forward to incorporating it into the system as a whole.

Quick and Easy
I installed this on our RV outdoor shower due to the small water heater and constantly playing with the hot/cold valves. Once I installed this mixing valve, it is basically set it and forget it! The mixing valve body feels heavy, solid brass. Adjusting the temp setting balances out within a second. Now I know I want one for the new build shower if I can't find a nice built-in shower system.
