Snapped in place and really compliments the look. I haven’t used it yet but the phone did start charging. You need to turn it on and then it has a push release to center on your phone. I will update after a bit of use.

Fits perfectly and works way better than the built in wireless charger. The reason is that this immediately charges at a faster rate as well as having the cooling feature.

Works Great, but watch out, the cigarette lighter plug does not turn off when you shut the car off. After several trips to the dealer it was determined that even if there is not a phone in the charger and the car is off…this charger draws enough energy to deplete your battery and you will get this warning and/or your car won’t start.Now I’m just going to use it for long trips with the wife in the car.

When we ordered this, we were not sure if it was going to be too bulky, or if our phones were going to be too big to fit properly, when they were in the wireless chargerWe are so happy with this purchase! When it is turned on, it blows cool air on your phone to prevent overheating. Our promax iPhones fit in the wireless charger perfectly! And it really looks like this item came with the car. It does not look out of place at all.If you are in doubt, I would say go for it! We love this item!

I don't own a Defender and ordered this wireless charger to install in a car that I am customizing. I'm still bench testing and designing the console that it will be installed in, but am very impressed with the charging unit itself. This is the best design of any that I have been looking at to use in a custom car application. The stand up design is a nice combination of charger and cell phone holder since you can still see the upper part of the screen for notifications. I like that it had a small pillow bumper in the bottom for each slot to stabilize the phone and keep it against the charger. In my testing the charger consistently connects with a variety of phones and starts charging immediately. I like that it also has USB "A" and "C" ports available as well and an on/off switch. Also a small detail that makes this product just that much better than the others I have been looking at is that the power plug and cable are completely below the bezel. I have looked at so many that have a small notch in the bezel to route the cord through in order to connect it to the cigarette lighter. For me there is nothing worse than having an exposed power cable for a component that meant to at least look like it's part of the dash or console. This charger doesn't have that flaw and will make for a very clean installation whether in an actual Defender or as a custom touch in another vehicle.
