Purchased this needing a decent dash cam. This cam is awesome and easy to work. No need to push a button to capture just link and scroll back. High end clarity. I can read all plates anywhere near me easily thank god. Highly recommend this awesome dash cam.

Bought 2 of these, one for each car. They are not 4k devices, but the image quality is good enough to establish fault after an accident. You will not be able to read a license plate, but you will have a solid 360 view. The setup and connect was easy enough. I don't understand how the SD card playback is organized. That part of the software needs work. It seems to play back just that last couple of minutes of video, however , if you remove the SD card, all of the files are available for review. I did call the support team with questions and they were prompt and courteous and helpful, which means a lot to me. I live in a hot climate 100+ days are normal, and these units have NOT overheated.Both units are functioning normally, and I certainly feel safer with the 360 degree view.I'm a tough reviewer, but I recommend the Type S 360 Smart 1080 cameras. Very good safety and insurance investment for my family.

I purchased this to prevent because I had my license plate stolen. I thought this would help prevent it from happening again. Nope! My plate was stolen again. This was a waste of money.
