These Shot Blockers are great to have when your children are young so that they don't feel the needle of any shots they may need. It works by the doctor setting it on the arm/leg of the child and applying a little pressure push with it before giving the shot. The blocker will disperse the nerve endings around the shot so that you can't feel the needle. I used the original medical shot blocker with my daughter when she was young (she's in her 30's now) and it made all the difference in the world when she had doctors' appointments! In fact, the doctor ordered many of these back then to use on her other patients. When I saw these on Amazon, I bought them for my daughter to use when her son had to get shots. To keep children (or needle-phobic adults) from getting traumatized, I would highly recommend getting these!

I use these for my subq injections and at first it was a little odd to use but I was able to get the hang of it after doing a couple of injections! I don’t feel the needle going in at all or the pinch from it, which is exactly what I wanted!

I purchased these to use in the pediatric office I work in. I have had nothing but great feedback from my patients (my own kid as well ) they just really love it! I have kids that come in and ask for a shot blocker beforehand. This item is becoming more popular at work than EMLA/lidocaine cream and cold spray! Also very easy to use for administration.
