I usually don't write reviews, but this battery saved the life of my phone, it's better than new, the battery last super long. I was hesitant about doing the replacement, but the change-out wasn't too dificult, there's plenty of good YouTube videos. Also, this is a video to watch for extra phone energy saving tips. The only downside of not having Apple install the original battery, is I no longer have the battery health feature, but this is typical when you put in a bigger battery. You will know that your phone needs a new battery, when it dies too fast. The phone still has the % life from each charge, and this is the most important. Also, I didn't care for the provided Philips screw drivers. You will know the Truth and Truth will set you free!

Battery life has tripled. The tools worked fine but the suction cup wasn’t strong enough for my 12 mini.

I have a well working iphone 11 (model A2111), which is on the compatible list fro this product. My existing battery was 4 years old and worked o.k. but was getting a little bit weak and I thought I'd replace it, so I bought this product. Out of the box it looked great. It installed perfectly, charged perfectly and functioned well...until 4 days after installing. Then the battery began overheating. It got so warm it shut down my facial recognition function. I thought maybe an app was draining the battery so I closed all apps, went to dark screen, shut off internet & bluetooth and 3 hours later, the back of the phone where the battery is, was still extremely hot to the touch. The battery was draining fast. I shut the phone down and after 3 hours OFF, it was still the same hot temperature. I then charged it to 100% and using it very lightly, it discharged completely to 0% within 4 hours. I then charged it to 75% and it drained down to 0% in 3 hours. The battery gets even hotter when charging. Too hot to hold onto for too long. I tried everything the tech sites the experts tell you to do but if none of them work, they say your battery is defective. Hopefully I can get a replacement from this seller.

Check the package when it arrives. Even though the picture shows battery tape, the kit that I received didn't come with it. I'm not sure if that's by design or I'm just lucky. Of course I didn't notice the missing tape until after I had removed the old battery and was ready to install the new. After not receiving a response from the ASDAWN team, I decided to order the tape separately (only $6) and was able to successfully install the battery. Recommend you press on all of the ribbon cable connections before closing as with mine a couple had come loose affecting the charge port and the ring silence button. After reseating them, everything is working fine and the battery seems to be functioning normally.

Just installed the battery and everything is working as it should. For the bad reviews saying it's not a "Genuine", "APPLE", or "OEM" battery, of course not it's a higher capacity aftermarket part. You can only get a genuine iPhone battery from Apple. Yes, you'll get an initial warning about the battery and the battery health reporting function will be disabled but everything else will work as it should. Take your time and watch a video or two. Make sure to get those cables clicked back into place. Overall, I feel the tools included were of higher quality than I expected. If I have any problems in the near future, I'll update my review.

I was a phone technician before so installed this properly on my phone but the battery was bad quality and contantly dies

I installed this battery just over 10 months ago in an iPhone XS 256gb. It was a very nice kit, and it’s still lasting a long time. Two thumbs up
