Great pump with a lot of flexibility in scheduling run time and RPMs, and it's SUPER QUIET
Purchased this on August 1 with the intent to run it on 110V.The things I like about this pump. This is the quietest pool pump I've ever encountered.Pump basket lid is very easy to remove and install, dont have to worry about smashing your knuckles trying to get it off. It's a big pump basket, holds a lot of debris and the site glass is very clear. The pump has a carrying hand built behind the pump basket, it's placed in a great location so weight is distributed evenly, the motor end does not dip down when you pick it up.Durable outer shellShipped with 2 inch and 1.5 inch adapters, don't see this that often.Four bolt locations to mount to your pad, it's a wide flange which makes tightening the nuts easyDid I say it's super quiet?LCD panel, allows you to run three schedules at different times of the day using different RPMs.Battery backup that retains your settings if the GFCI trips.Preset schedule but you can customize any of the schedules to meet your needs. This is a great feature because it eliminates the need for a timer to energize the receptacle the pump is connected to!Easy access to wiring lugs and pump intelligently detects line voltage, no dip switches to set.I had a heck of a time getting this pump to run on 110V but in the end, I believe it was an oversight on my part. More on this later...The pump ships from the factory in a beefy box with flexible Styrofoam encasing the unit. The box was slightly damaged but pump was well protected. I had the pump wired on a 110V circuit in less than 30 minutes. Turned the breaker on and pump fired right up. Roughly 6 hours later the pump stopped working. I removed the GFCI plug from the circuit, replacing it with a regular plug, pump still didn't run. Checked voltage 118.6V, but pump was displaying error code E009(low voltage).I dont have an amp meter but motor plate shows peak amps of 13.2, well below the 20amp 12-2 wiring I have in conduit. That wiring is 20+ years old and I've always wanted a 240vac pool pump for efficiencies, so I decided I was going to install a new circuit.Prior to rewiring, I sent an email to the vendor, they responded within 4 hours. They asked for my phone number and called me the next day. Support is overseas so there was difficulty communicating as the tech's English was not good. We went through all the wiring, voltage reading, etc., in the end the vendor offered to refund my money as they had concerns about the age of my wiring. But since I wanted 240VAC I decided to pull a new circuit. What a project this was:Trenched 120 foot, 4 inch wide by 28 inches deepLayed conduitPulled 10 gauge THWN wire to pool pad (Lowes had 10AWG THWN on clearance for $0.12/ft, harder to work with but so much cheaper than 12AWG)Installed a 20amp GFCI breaker in the load center, 2 pole, 240VInstalled 20 amp twist lock receptacle at pool pad, 3 wireAdded another 20amp breaker and GFCI outlet at pool pad (accessories like the chlorine generator). This took me 3 full days to complete as I did the work myself. I plugged the pump in on Aug 12 and it did the same thing, Power and Run light lit up but pump not running, and everything is now wired at 240V. Tested voltage on the circuit board and the receptacle, both showed 238V.I'm thinking the pump must be bad, but first, I went back and reread the manual. I guess I missed the fact the pump starts in auto mode. When I looked at the clock time on the LCD it was 0426 which is outside the auto run for the three time schedules in the manual. I programmed the time to 0900 and pump fired right up. I spoke tech support x5, 2 by email and 3 phone calls, this vendor is very responsive and helpful by language barrier made communications difficult at times. , I mentioned I would find the pump running but after checking later in the day it was off. They never mentioned the schedule and to check the time since it has battery backup and was tested at the factory. I always ran a timer to energize the pump outlet, so I was not accustom to a pump that could run numerous schedules, never crossed my mind the pump would come from the factory programmed to run a defined schedule. I suspect the pump would have worked on the 110V line because I'm sure when the pump wasn't running, it was outside the start/stop times of the three schedules.I gave the vendor a few suggestions -A couple of suggestions when you look to update the firmware. Ship the pump in manual mode since you are installing a battery which remembers the clock time when it was tested at the factory. Also, if the pump is in auto mode and the clock time is outside the programmed schedule, show this on the LCD- a code that reads 'idle' or 'off-hours' so the user is alerted the pump is outside the programmed schedule and will not run. Put the 'idle' or 'off-hours' codes in your troubleshooting table, this way a user like me that didn't catch this on page 8, can find the countermeasures that tells them 'verify clock time is within the auto schedule on page 8.These enhancement may save the next user a lot of grief. I'm sure the pump would have run fine on the 110V circuit, but I've always wanted a 240V pump for efficiency so my time was not totally wasted, but it was a lot of work.My final thought is, when we spoke multiple times, no one mentioned the auto schedule and to verify the clock time is within one of the three schedules. Again, change the LCD to display 'idle' or 'off-hours' and add that to the trouble shooting table on page 11.The vendor got back to me, thanked me for my feedback and have me an additional year warranty for my troubles and the feedback I provided to improve the product. You didn't see this that often, especially with an Amazon vendor. Time will tell if this thing is reliable........ Would I buy again, absolutely, especially knowing they stand behind their product and will call and work through problems with you.I also gave myself a few suggestions, always read the manual twice.......and go back to it when you encounter a problem......

Great pump but understand its limitations
First, this is the most quiet pump I have ever had, even at full speed. I assume this is because it is well balanced and manufactured to close tolerances, so all in all, I feel it is a very well made, high quality item. Second, the support team is wonderful. They were quick in all their replies and very helpful. Also, it was an easy installation because its size, threads, etc were exactly the same a my old Pentair 1.5 HP Superflow single speed pump.Initially I had a concern with the pump because it's water flow at maximum speed is only about the same as my old pump so either its maximum HP is slightly less than the 2.2 stated or, my old pump had MORE HP than stated. Either way, for me, it means that I will have to run the pump close to its full speed go get my waterfall to look the same and for my pool cleaner to operate properly. My solution is to run at 3300 rpm (3450 is max) just long enough to clean the pool (3300 seems to be the lowest speed my cleaner can tolerate). I can lower the speed significantly to just circulate the water but the cleaner will barely creep along if it moves at all. This may be reasonable though as one should not expect the same waterflow at lower speeds. I was hoping that I could get the same power as my old pump at a much lower speed (1.5 HP is 70% of 2.2 HP so I was hoping I could operate at 70% speed to get the same performance of my old pump). Unfortunately 70% speed (2400) is not even close to 1.5 HP performance - maybe the relationship is not linear. At any rate, I am having to use much higher speed than I had hoped, but I have found ways to work around the problem. I do hope the pump's life span will not be affected by the higher speeds I use. I want to point out that these observations may be true for ANY variable speed pump, not just this one (this is my first VS). At any rate, I am happy with the pump, and if it gives me a reasonable life then I will probably replace it with the same brand but one with a larger HP.

A Real Quiet Keeper
This pump is an upgrade for a single speed Hayward super pump. The LINGXIAO Variable Speed 2HP pump is without a doubt the best decision I have ever made to improve my pool's operating system! Super fast delivery and very easy to install. Setup of its operation schedule was very intuitive. Its best attributes: SUPER Quiet and Low power consumption. There's no need for a separate pump timer because you can program its operating schedule. The handle is a nice feature too. Customer service is very responsive. The price is alot of bang for the buck. I'm very pleased with this pump. I hope you can see my smile.

Love the pump, huge energy cost savings, but programming instructions are hard to understand
The pump was easy to install, runs consistently, keep the pool clean even through hot months on the preprogrammed default setting. Very happy with the significant energy savings from this energy efficient model. Only issue is that it is hard to understand the programming instructions that come with the unit. If you could please let me know how to get more clear instructions for programming, I'd be grateful.

Nice Pool Pump
I have an in-ground salt water pool. Have only had this pump for 2 days, but I can say the pump is of high quality and was easy to install (took me about 30 minutes to repipe the water connections and 5 minutes to make the electric connection. The pump is very quiet and works nicely. Don't forget to email the manufacturer for the extended warranty!
