I like how spacious the pages are. Lots of room for annotations. A section of the book explains some history of the pieces and there is some new stuff in there too. There should be more exercises in there but as I’m a beginner in my spare time, that’s enough for me to get on with.

Disappointed with the over emphasis on light and pop pieces and absence of classical music. There should be a more even balance in my opinion.

My seven-year-old daughter is finally start her Grade 1 piano learning. A must-have piano exam book for Grade 1, reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
