A fantastic multi-purpose product
This product gets five stars for two reasons. I didn't buy it because I wanted candy, but for the sake of building suspense, I'll address that side of things first, then I'll go on to the real reason for my purchase.Yes, these little candies are freakin' delicious. I like regular M&M's well enough, but I rarely buy them myself; even if they're around, I'll only have a handful of them before I'm satisfied. These little guys, though, are a whole different beast. The layer of colored sugar they boast is just as thick as that of their non-fun-sized brethren, so mathematically, the result is a higher ratio of sugar coating to chocolate. I'm a fan of candies, but pure chocolate (e.g. a solid Hershey chocolate bar without almonds or anything) has never been my game. The extra bit of sugary goodness on these mini M&M's really knocks them into high gear.If not for candy's sake, though, what might my main reason be for buying a 24 pack of 1.08 oz canisters of M&M's? (That's more than a pound and a half of candy, if you're keeping score.) The answer is: these little tubes are PERFECT for storing quarters. Each holds about 55 quarters, or almost $14. I only had one tube, which I'd been using for years until the cap finally started to snap off, and couldn't get any more because they don't sell them near me. Now, I keep one with my laundry detergent for coin-op machines, one in my glove compartment for parking meters, a few for my roommates, and a bunch of extras to give to anyone who sees my tubes and comments on what a good idea it is. That kind of observational skill ought to be rewarded, don't you think? So yes. Buy these. Enjoy the chocolate, knowing that at the end of your candy-eating session, you'll have a nice little quarter-toter.

Piece of My Childhood
Where I live, these aren't sold in stores or pharmacies like they used to be. If you want them locally, you have to buy them at jacked up prices inside mall candy stores.Buying in bulk like this was really a great value! I really do like these, a great snack for being on the go. And, when you're done, wash out the tubes and store quarters in them. If you fill it right to the brim with quarters, it holds exactly $14.00

A little chipped from shipping but still great.
More candies than when purchased in store were chipped, but they tasted fresh and are fun to eat. My family loves them.

Sweet Dual Purpose
These are exactly what I wanted! I gave these to the youth at church after doing a presentation about Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. The empty M&M container is perfect for storing quarters. I suggested the youth save quarters to cash in to cover the $9 shipping cost to send a shoebox.
