Ace little boat!
I brought this as a gift, it was a lot smaller than I expected but itās still a fantastic little boat, I found that itās very durable if it gets knocked about on the water.

Very fun RC boat, especially during summer time with the paddling pool out
Got this boat for my kid's birthday and wow, what a hit! It zooms around like crazy - does all these cool spins and can even go backwards. The lights makes for an interesting feature, especially when we tried it out at when it was getting dark. It's pretty fast and it seems to work fine in our pool, though I wouldn't trust it on the tides of a beach! I *think* the battery lasts around 20 minutes, though I didn't time it - it was enough for my daughter and her handful of friends to all have a go. Easy enough to charge though. That being said, I will admit that I enjoy playing with it myself, and have been caught running the battery down. It's just really fun.Regarding how waterproof it is; It's clearly well built. I'm seeing zero water ingress, even after the kids have pulled it to the bottom of the paddling pool, though I insist that they mustn't do this. It's been great for keeping the kids entertained. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun water toy.

Not bad
This isnāt bad. The boat seems quite well-made, is fairly robust, and works pretty well. The boat isnāt very realistic looking, is very small, and if Iām honest a little underwhelming. However, the remote control is good, and the battery pack for the boat slots in, inside the boat (there is a removable cover), so no fiddly, fragile push pin connections like some other remote control toys. Unfortunately, there isnāt a spare battery pack, but worse perhaps, thereās no battery life indicator, so you need to be very careful not to end up losing it, because you canāt bring it back. The remote control requires 3 x AAA batteries (not included). The boat automatically turns on when placed in the water. The boat has a āstuntā feature (it rotates horizontally). Iām not sure that adds much, but Iām sure some may like. There is 2 x speeds, but the boat isnāt very controllable, since it is either on or off, thereās no variable speed control. Also, sometimes the boat doesnāt respond to the remote control. In a similar vein to the stunt function, Iām not sure how useful the lights are ā just another battery drain. In spite of the listing description, I couldnāt see any way of turning them off.Overall, it does work reasonably well, with good remote control range. The controls are straightforward, but as noted occasionally slow to respond. Not bad, but very expensive for what it is. Very young children will probably enjoy, but older ones I suspect will want something bigger, more realistic looking, and with variable speed control.I hope this has been helpful.

Palm-sized boat but good fun on still water.
This isn't a large boat - it fits in your hand quite easily and is rather basic. The same goes for the controller. You get a custom battery which can be removed from the boat for charging, but you need to supply your own 3xAAA batteries for the controller. You get a screwdriver to open the controller, two spare propellers and a charging lead,The battery for the boat goes under the top cover - you need to TWIST the small section at the back to open the cover, then the battery just pops into place. You only get one battery unfortunately, and you need it out of the boat to charge it.The boat steers by adjusting the power to each prop, the rudder is just from trim to ensure it goes straight. You get basic left/right/forwards/backwards controls which work OK (if very much on/off) and two "stunt" buttons which flip the boat in the water.I've only tried it on a small pond near me that was very calm, and it did well enough, if a little less spectacular than I'd hoped. A breeze or choppy water will give it some concern and it won't go exactly where you want it, but it was responsive at a long range and came back under its own steam.Quite a solid beast, so will take a few knocks. Good for younger children for sure, just don't expect too much from such a small package, even if it is a little expensive.

This is great.
I brilliant RC toy. We initially purchased this of our son with the aim of using it in the bath.. It's find for that purpose but really offers much more in a bigger stretch of water. It picks up a pretty decent speed and the lights are cool... it even does 360 barrel rolls so no problems at all of it lands upside down. Just a really nifty all round toy. We love it.
