Sale or not, the value is hard to pass up on!
Coming from a much older 1080p monitor, the Q27G4XD was an incredible upgrade for me. Paying just £134.99 before postage, I'd say I got an incredible deal, very good value. The 2560 x 1440p resolution allows things to look super sharp, and going back and forth between 1080p and 1440p options in games really surprises me as to how much blurrier 1080p can seem, making 1440p a great, refreshing option.Jumping from a 60Hz to a 180Hz monitor makes a very big difference, even in just general scrolling on the internet. Until I got to experience it for myself, I never would have realised how noticeable the difference truly is, and it only gets better for playing games. Rotating the camera makes it feel as if I'm turning from left to right in real life, it's just that smooth. The IPS display has wonderful colours, especially coming from TN displays. Where previously I could have gone slightly above or below my monitor and have the colours go all wrong, the viewing angles on this monitor are truly great. When going too far to the right or left, you can notice things go a little... darker(?), but ideally you wouldn't be moving that far around the monitor when using it, so it really isn't an issue.I can appreciate the fast response times, inclusion of HDR, good selection of ports, and other features. This is a 27 inch monitor, and you should have seen my face when I first saw the box! I initially thought of the screen to be ginormous, but now it's normal to me, and an excellent upgrade that fits perfectly in my setup. Very easy to set up with the inclusion of DisplayPort and HDMI cables in the box. Also surprisingly thin, which I can always appreciate even if I won't be seeing it from the side too often. The RRP sits at £179.99, but the monitor frequently goes on sale. Even at full price, I think the value you're getting with this monitor is too great to pass up on.

Purchase Of Monitor My Review
I'm fairly happy with the purchase it was well cared for on delivery well packaged the monitor fairly decent and affordable in it's budget, the down side the HDR isn't great and bad way to bright even when you turn it down on the SDR brightness I've tweaked with it even looked up online best settings and they advised turn HDR off on this monitor so I have because it was messing with my eyes and looks better on FPS mode and few tweaks in the monitor menus that's just my opinion you might like it differentI don't like bright screens, sound quality decent but I have it through speakers I like the screen size 32 is about right for me😊

Marvelous quality, great price. A bargin!
I pondered for sometime about what to upgrade my 23inch 1080P Dell monitor with especially as I had ordered a new, more powerful PC. I don't do gaming, I use the computer mainly for Photoshop and the usual mundane stuff. I was considering 32in or 34in and whether QHD or better was required. I saw this 27in 1440P QHD monitor as such a good price it seemed a good 'stop gap' for me to judge which way to go, particularly as I hadn't seen any AOC screens previously. I have now used this monitor for six weeks (first with my older PC and for five weeks with the new one) and I am well pleased at the functionality and quality provided. I have decided to stick with this for the time being and will have no hesitation when upgrading to purchase another AOC model.

Great 24” 1440p option for gaming and productivity
Overall a very good niche offering. Used as a secondary display for both working and gaming. Set at 125% windows scaling, it is similar sizing to 1080p although much sharper.-Very smooth and responsive with low input lag. 24” at 1440 is noticeably cleaner and more crisp than 27”. Ideal for small desks and colour accuracy is good too.-The stand takes up too much space as it protrudes at the back. As it’s not a wide gamut display, the monitor only covers the standard srgb colour spectrum so media can look a little undersaturated compared to modern screens. No dedicated toggle/switch control for the osd, instead you have to manually select and interact with each button. It’s very clunky and tedious.

Responsive with great vivid colours in HDR mode
I have to admit that I am a gamer that likes FPS games. I previously had a 32" Samsung 1440p G7, which was good, but this blows that out of the water.Being 27" means that it is smaller but surprisingly its not very noticeable. However I do miss it not being curved as a curved screen suits my eyes better as I also wear glasses. With this one being flat I need to sit straight on to get the best picture. But, being smaller also means it is crisper and the HDR is amazing. Bright whites, deep blacks and very vibrant colours. It has a very good refresh rate and also response time and when playing fast FPS game I dont notice any smearing or ghosting. My old Samsung was twice the price but only half as good as this one.Just be aware that the stands legs stick out quite a bit so if like me you have a large mouse mat it may be a problem. All in all I cant fault this monitor one bit and I'm very pleased I got it.

Awesome for writing/coding!
This monitor is reasonably priced, wide, light, and fits three normal screens side-by-side for lots of side-by-side work. And it worked, right out of the box! Largest resolution was default. It looks awesome and feels good to use. There's a height adjustment and the highest height suits me perfectly. (I am tall). The stand is super sturdy and fits together easily. The colours match my laptop's perfectly, though the default gamma is a bit faded toward grey, may need to play with that. The Response time is not applicable to my uses for coding, so can't comment on it. I'm sure gamers will!I've only been using it an hour, so can't comment yet on longevity. But it works well on day one!

Happy with this
This is a great monitor, and at the price it is one you can feel good about buying. The only complaint I have is that the menu is a bit complex. Otherwise, colours are great and it's the perfect first time ultrawide for me.
