I needed to syringe in a lot of a thick liquid medicine for my horse (ground up metformin mixed with milk of magnesia) - twice daily. He hated this and liked to try to toss his head and avoid the liquid any way he could. This syringe easily draws up thick liquid. The ring on the plunger helped me keep a grip on the syringe. The size of this is also ‘just’ enough that when it’s very full - my hand could still plunge it. I am a gal and wear a medium size glove - so my hands are not tiny nor very large/long. This size syringe is the biggest that I can hold and plunge one-handed. I would draw up some water after giving him his med and rinse the syringe out and reuse it for weeks on end. Worked well.
