We've been using this set daily for about 6 months now. They look exactly as they did when removed from the package even with daily dishwasher cleanings. The spoons are wide which is my preference. The set feels lightweight but sturdy. I am very happy with the quality for the price.

This silverware is a fantastic deal. It’s extremely well made and not flimsy. It’s very pretty and a nice weight. This will definitely get many years of use. This is perfect for just starting out…. Heading to college … or a first apartment. Otherwise you’d need more than one set. You get 4 of each utensil in this pack.

Cheap appearance, hollow handles, awkwardly wide spoons.. I returned these without even unboxing them.

This review is for the HAMPTON FORGE 12-Piece Flatware Set (Style: 894842 - Ayla). I received a free taxable sample of this flatware set to review in my search for an everyday flatware set.The set arrived in a decorated and branded open face box displaying a set of the three flatware pieces: dinner fork, dinner knife, and dinner spoon. Inside the box were four of each flatware piece for a total of twelve pieces as well as a small square pamphlet outlining the 25-year warranty and noting the other brands in the direct Hampton Forge family. All of the pieces are one-piece items most likely stamped out of 18/0 stainless steel which contains 18% chromium and 0% nickel. There is a standard length but lighter weight and feel to all of the flatware pieces that would place them towards the lightweight categorization scale. The dinner fork as the standard flatware piece measures 7 7/8" in length with a weight of 36 grams (4.5 grams/inch). The dinner spoon comes in with slightly higher measurements at 8" in length and a weight of 44 grams (5.5 grams/inch). The dinner knife is significantly heavier at a length of 9" and weight of 74 grams (8.2 grams/inch) but the set still squarely falls within the lightweight category. The bend at the neck of the fork and spoon allows them to be balanced along the neck and there were no noticeable weight issues when using any of the flatware pieces.There is an overall simple look to this Ayla set with slightly raised edging along most of the handle. Branding and batch number on the fork and spoon are on the bottom part of the handle and neck respectively. The knife interestingly enough only has the raised edging on the side that would be facing a right-hander; with the other side being completely smooth but otherwise the same functionally. I like the smooth mirrored finish but will note that some of the surfaces are not as smooth and have more of an "edge" to them, which can potentially be buffed or polished away. Overall, the set functioned with no issues as an everyday set, but the lightweight categorization was noticeable when compared to the next level of middleweight to heavy-middleweight flatware. With that in mind, it may be worth your while to invest in a heavier flatware set with a higher grams/inch metric.All in all, the HAMPTON FORGE Ayla set is a good everyday standard 12-piece four place setting set with good construction and a standard everyday dining look. I would recommend this set as a lightweight starter set for everyday use but also recommend considering investing in a 18/0 set with a higher grams/inch ratio from the Hampton Forge brand (now part of the Lenox family of brands) or another major brand.

This is a 12-piece flatware set consisting of four of each: spoon, fork, and knife. The design is very basic and serves to be mainly functional and not decorative. The plainness of it makes it easy to clean without food getting stuck anywhere. Overall, this is a great set for those who like their value and practicality.

Hampton forge flatware sets is definitely durable. Well made flatware sets. The dinner spoon is deeper than my other spoon. Very elegant sets perfect for formal dinner. Was surprised with its price knowing the quality really is great .Would definitely recommend this❤️

This 12-piece set of flatware is of decent quality. The utensils are not too heavy and not too light. The design is simple and elegant. This 12-piece flatware set is perfect as a starter kit for small-size families. I love it.

I never seem to have enough forks or spoons--especially if I am having company over! This flatware looked good quality and would give me enough spoons to eat yogurt for every meal, lol! The first thing I noticed when I got them was how large the spoons were compared to the knives and forks. They were more like serving spoons, which I had plenty of already. Or maybe I need to take bigger bites? The silverware did have a nice weight when you held them, but the fork wasn't solid on the back, so had kind of sharpish edges which wasn't that comfortable to use for me. (I might be more picky regarding this, but wanted to mention it.) Would make a great starter set, and is better quality than what you would find at a discount store.
