I was impressed with how easy it was to get started. The device connects seamlessly—I just used my standard Type-C cable, and everything worked perfectly without any hassle. My 2016 Mercedes C350e Satnav is out of date and an update from Mercedes is in excess of £500. This devise gives me Apple CarPlay on a 7in touch screen, rendering the car info screen redundant (except for audio and Bluetooth management). So, I simply mounted the new screen directly onto the car screen using the suction cup mount. Perfect and quite secure!The £85 cost was reduced by £20 with an Amazon Coupon - offered during ordering.Setting it up was very easy using the user handbook supplied. Once my phone was paired with it, no actions were necessary whenever I turned on the ignition switch.No need to switch the phone on too!My wife’s phone will be paired later.Very good quality and such good value!

Bought this for my wife as her car doesn't have a screen or ability to hook her iphone up to the stereo for music. The screen is nicely bright and the touchscreen is as you'd expect (it's no iphone). Some issues with system playing the music through inbuilt speakers rather than car speakers on occasion but was still just about listenable, which was surprising. Overall, this adds the functionality we were after for not extortionate money and means if you're running an older car like ours then you can hold off spending thousands on a replacement for a while longer yet! If you can live with the 'stuck on dash' look and hanging wires then it's recommended.

Really easy to setup but the quality is very poor, does what it needs to but will be looking for an alternative in the future.

Literally no instructions yet the main issue is the camera was broken out the box. Wire was shredded and even after using Waygo's to get the thing connected, was a waste of time as it didn't even power the camera.The screen on the other hand yes its very clear and easy to use BUT it uses both your phone Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at the same time, that being said, it cant connect to the radio's Bluetooth so you're in a n endless battle trying to disconnect from your phone and it forcing it back on.felt 1star was too harsh as the screen itself is very clean but realistically its worth £30 at a push.

The CarPlay is really simple to set up and use and the sound quality tuned through the radio is really good. It took a while to set the camera up as I was getting the message no signal. So some tips from my experience. The two short wires coming out of the yellow connectors are not needed. For the camera power lead I found I only needed to connect the red wire to my reverse light wire (a bit of solder and some electrical tape did the job). I didn’t actually need to connect the red and black wire to anything. As I said when putting the car in reverse I was just getting the no signal message, after quite a bit of googling I cut the little white loop in the photo and the camera then worked. The quality of the camera is good. Overall I highly recommend this for the money which was less than £50 on Amazon Prime day.

Bought for my partner's car, her old 2010 Mini R56 doesn't have any modern kit in it, bluetooh, usb etc.Product worked perfectly. Connects to your phone via Bluetooth and can be tuned to play through the radio via FM with no static. Really couldn't fault the sound quality.Android auto runs perfectly smoothly.Recommended.
