make me emotional, it touches essense of human existence! It describes whole life of most of persons not all but little bit important part of everyone!

The book was everything I thought it was and more. It was a touching story because somehow even if not retarded, we are all once or forever part of the rat race and get smarter so it gives some kind of relatable feelings. To know someone achieve it all and then loose it all and can't help it was a touching emotion. Author did a good job there. He was able to instill a feeling of definite helplessness. It's a good read and I will recommend to everyone I can.

This book made me reflect a lot about life. I wish I could have been Charlie's friend since the start. My own brother has classic autism and we live in a charitable society for the intellectually disabled people and their families. One boy here is exactly like Charlie. I read this book while keeping him in my visualism. Maybe the author had a relative who was intellectually disabled, because he had spoken about the emotions with such clarity, that it's impossible to feel apathetic. I'd recommend this book to every person who breathes air.

Great book, worth the read. It's about a boy who lives all the stages of a man's life and experiences all those mental changes from rebellion of teenage to maturity and forgiveness of opd age within a short period of time.And all other experiment stuff is great too.

Nice story

I am in love with Charlie (main character), I am sure anyone who reads this book would be. This book has great insights on human nature and tries to remain as psychological as possible. But more than science its the emotion which it exudes is something that can be cherished for a life time.It can be looked as a sketch for human life as a whole. We are born, then we become adults, then old and finally we depart. And with each different stage different behavior of our family / society members is exhibited. The duality of our nature, the inner child always remain and may become stronger in situations which have erstwhile negative engravings. There are so many questions this book poses.The innocence and the love for human and animal kind shines through the prose. You can't help but smile and laugh again and again when Charlie does unpredictable things, which he does a lot. First person voice makes it so real and personal. You can almost feel what 's happening to him.I feel this book should be read by everyone who wants to understand more about human nature or wants to have a sentimental and psychological trip. You won't be disappointed.
