48 Inch Hanging Rails for Posters, Signs, and Maps (Black)

I wanted to hang a huge map (80" wide), but did not want to spend a literal fortune on a custom frame. I also did not want to tack the map directly to the wall. This solution fit the bill perfectly. They were super easy to install and the tutorial videos were very helpful. Definitely recommend these if you are looking for something more robust than taping your picture to the wall, but less of a commitment than a full frame.

The video is very helpful, but a little confusing. The item goes in with the BACKSIDE facing you as you clamp down. I used brown paper to practice and opened and closed several times making it more flexible and easier to close. I hung a 48” world map myself and used a small piece of scotch tape on one end to anchor it while inserting the other end. Very happy with the results.

I have no idea why this product has 4 or 5 star reviews. Yes, it does hold, but it's remarkably cheap and very easy to damage while you're cutting it to size. There's no way to square anything; once on the wall it looks like a cut-rate solution. These are a couple of very cheap extruded plastic strips that are severely overpriced. An inexpensive strip of wood molding cut to size would accomplish the same task and look twice as good.

After the reviews I was concerned about how difficult it would be to place the paper into the guide and snap it shut but after doing it I can only conclude that you'd have to be some kind of waterhead to screw this up. I slid the paper into the plastic, centered it and glided my hands across and snapped it shut. No fuss or hassle. Then I hung up my nautical chart and have had zero problems. I will likely be buying more once I buy my next home and hang more oversized items. Great product.

Update: Seller contacted me in reference to making good on the product and shipping me a new one. I do realize that mistakes can be made with any product (even name brands) so I increased the rating as customer service is an important aspect as well when it comes to products.Purchased these rails for my world map. They were difficult to use even after watching the video.One side I was able to lock perfectly. The other side only half-way locked. Half hung off. Wrinkled new map in the process.

I'm really happy with this. I have a gorgeous, fragile, vintage map that is irregularly sized. I couldn't find any way to display it without paying a bijillion dollars for a custom frame or risking damage by taping it up. I bought this and it's finally up on the wall! Thank you!

I needed something to hold a 48 inch laminated map to the wall in my office. These are just what I hoped for. Easy to snap on and look great

goKelvin hanging rails have so perfectly fit my needs for a quick and classy way to display my sketches. I use goKelvin black rails to hang black presentation board onto which I tape my sketches. The presentation boards are a little larger than my sketches which creates a black border so my sketches pop against the beige wall. I have no worries at all of the presentation boards falling as the rails hold them perfectly tight.
