These latches were the best value I could find, but worked just fine for me to replace broken latches on a guitar hard case. They are not super heavy duty, and one of the screws was starting to round off some when I was tightening it. I did pre-drill and add some super glue both under the latches and in the screw holes to ensure they stay in place. Time will tell, but I'm happy to this point and would buy them again.

A sturdy replacement latch for my golf club travel hard case. Original latch finally succumbed to baggage handler abuse. Easily installed. My only issue was the bolt hokes in the latch piece are too close to the edge of the assembly leaving little material remaining to secure the bolts.

I built a custom padded travel box for a friend's Cricut machine since she let me borrow it. Due to the wood graphics used and the overall shape of the box, it looked kind of like a Pirate's treasure chest. Therefore, I needed an appropriate latch set up, but I'd already spent way too much on crafting it to this point, so I wasn't going to use wrought iron or anything crazy like that. When I came across these, I was like... "YES" that's exactly what I need !It didn't bother me a whole lot that they were dirt cheap and featured free shipping from my pals at Amazon. It's a good little latch hardware pack (screws and latches). $4 or $5 is probably a more appropriate price for it though.

Replaced old ones on toolbox that were messed up, the bottom part was a little longer than the originals so i drilled holes and move it up. The drawer can open but i have to flip up the swinging latch part when closing the drawer, no big deal though. They work great, i didn’t use the screws, i used rivets.

This item is poorly made, flimsy and doesn't latch well. Just a little pressure from pulling it closed it bent.I would have returned it if I didn't break it .I bought a better item for a little more from the local supply store..
