This is an excellent toy and makes an excellent gift for kids above the stated age on the box. The only issue with this item is that the previous version of the toy is still being sold and it’s defective! This version is water proof and the box will state that it’s water proof and safe for your kid to be in the water with the toy. Waaaaaaait a minute, so the previous version people complained water was leaking into the compartments and it was breaking. Okay, then they come out with a new version and advertise that it is now safe for your child to play with while sitting in the body of water with the toy. So the other toy was never safe. The other version that was made for water wasn’t safe in the water and there was a possible electrocution hazard because it is not water proof. Why is it still being sold? Make sure the version that you purchase says new, water proof and safe.

This was the best Christmas gift I bought this year, and I bought a lot! It looks cool right out of the box! It has a remote controller and it swims all over and sprays water which looks blue because of the light it has. All the kids wanted one after they saw it! If you're thinking about buying one don't...Buy two or three!!!

Would not recommend!!!Got this for my daughter for Christmas. Worked great the first time. Hasn't worked since. Charged the battery. No water got in the battery compartment. Changed the remotes battery. Nothing. No light comes on on the dino.Will never buy again.

I first gave this product one star because it broke the first day right in the middle of the tail. I gave a review and the company reached out to me to help rectify the issue. I choose to have another one sent instead of a refund because it is pretty cool toy. They were very helpful in the process. Hoping this one stays together but all on all they work with you if you have issues. My grandson can't wait to play with it again.

I bought it for my 7 year old but I'm pretty sure I like it about as much as he does. Smooth swimming movement, he loves the added feature of the water spray. It's a little pricey but it is very cool.

I bought this for my son’s birthday. He has used it 3, maybe 4 times (for 5-10 minutes each time). It stopped working so we assumed the battery needed to recharge. However charging did not work. It just stopped working. His birthday was long after I bought it so the return window is closed. It was fun while it lasted but didn’t last long.
