Wouldn't be without this gadget now
What a discovery. I always thought these were too expensive so never gave them a thought as an amateur DIY'er but I was so wrong. I needed to hang wall paper all around a small down stairs toilet and and then panel it. I used a selfie stick to raise it and it worked a treat. The level is spot on accurate and allowed me to hang the first piece plum vertical as well as subsequent pieces. I've yet to add the panels but I know this will be so much more accurate and easier with this handy level. Bargain

not bad for the money
IF left in the free levelling/pendulum setting it is pretty good as long as you're within 3-4 degrees of level (otherwise it flashes). When the lock is engaged it is pretty much useless unless you have tripod with spirit level bubble, because as you engage the lock it fixes the laser lens at 90 degrees to the case of the unit, which is invariably NOT level, so you require another means of creating a level mount or surface. the projection of the lines are good and even at 10metres projection the lines were only a few mm wide so it is still easy to see an accurate reading, the field of projection is quite wide/tall too. The included bracket is usefully magnetic too, stuck well to the side of the fridge. So as I said, not bad for the money.

Great for diy!
It is really useful. Mostly plastic so fine for diy. The rotation feature didn’t seem to work but it just rotates in really small increments. As a photographer I didn’t think I would use it’s clamp feature (as I have different tripods). However I already found use for it. Would recommend it!

Decent budget laser level
This was good, very bright. I have experience in setting up this equipment and found this one required careful setup to be accurate, but the accuracy was there. Be sure to have your tripod/stand relatively level before using the auto level and measure a few times, tapping the laser level in between measurements to re-auto level. As other reviews have pointed out the lock feature doesn't hold the auto-levelled level. The locking feature isn't intended to be used this way, its used for angles or line continuation. Keep using the auto level feature for levelled lines.

Great product, but very dim laser
It works, has a handy magnet holder and seems to be level, but it's only 150Lm bright so won't be able to see lines in brighter light. Forget gardening works or anything outside.Bear in mind that most sub £50 levels will have the same laser so for this money it's good.Otherwise it's a sound product

Makes jobs easier, instructions not intuitive.
Let me get this out first. Been renovating an entire house and this thing has made sure everything is level! It works a treat when being you get going. However, the instruction are a bit tricky. I found this but I’ve lent this to three friends and tell them how to turn it off they all go, ek.The addition of the magnetic/screw holder is a bonus. However, we don’t always have metal or want to screw into the wall and mark up the fresh plaster. Therefore, I recommend getting a tripod which allow you to screw this in. It will finish it off easily and save you lots of stacking of books.
