Perfect, affordable, reliable, works well with home automation
This and the Philips branded wiz have turned into one of my favorite bulbs. We have a smart home with automation and zero issues with these. I’ve had a few fail but that’s the same for all brands. I prefer them over the Govee ones. They work well with home assistant. I haven’t verified with my meter brightness but seems on par with what they say. I’ve had very few fail and a major brand that cost more would fail every few months for me. These have been my go to bulb. I own at least 40 of them.

I love these!
I have no lights on my apartment living room except a floor lamp. That is across the room from the entrance. With these I can now turn on my living room light without stumbling over or crashing into stuff! Heck I can turn them on & off from my bed. I got these for my bathroom & bedroom. I love being able to set a routine in the morning for them to come on. I have sunrise in my bedroom to wake up to. And by the time I stumble to my bathroom the lights are already on (I'm not a morning person 😵).I also have them turn off at a certain time in case I forget. I also love the rhythm set up so my lights are more blue toned & bright in the morning. They soften & warm through the day until bedtime. At bedtime if I turn them on they are as dim & warm as they go so it doesn't wake me up.I also deal with depression so it's nice being able to turn off my lights from my phone, which is always with me. If I'm too tired or depressed to get out of bed these lights are easy to turn off.It is an adjustment to fumble with my phone to turn lights on & off. Also if I'm running late (always) I've had them turn off before I'm ready. That's OK because it reminds me to get my butt in gear & get moving. I'm REALLY not a morning person.

Endless Malfunctions
I've had no end of frustration with these lights. Initially I was very pleased by the color, app control, and ease of setup. I liked the range of functions and integrations. So I ordered more than a dozen wiz lights of this and other varieties. But within a few months, the malfunctions started. And there seems to be no end in sight.Malfunction #1: I had just moved into a new house, and I wanted to re-sync the lights to connect them to a new router. Well, no matter which router network I connected to, I could not re-sync the lights to the app. I tried many hours of troubleshooting on my own, switching routers, every configuration I could think of. The Wiz app just didn't work. After more hours of troubleshooting with Wiz, they suggested I try syncing with the legacy Wiz app. That eventually fixed the issue. Clearly something is wrong if an old app can re-sync lights (only manually, one at a time, mind you, in a very slow process that takes 5 minutes per light), but cannot do so automatically or using the new, "better" app. But problems solved, eventually, right? Wrong.Malfunction #2: Only a week or so after this problem was solved, I had a new problem. Instead of starting in the setting configure by app, lights would initialize in a totally different setting - flashing randomly between different modes. The lights would eventually connect to the app, after about 5 minutes, after which they would behave properly. Clearly something was wrong. Eventually, one of the lights stopped connecting at all, and would cycle between modes endlessly, refusing to sync to the network or re-sync to the app. More hours of troubleshooting, more hoops to jump through - sending videos, removing from one fixture installing in another, taking videos, taking pictures. Eventually Wiz replaced the light.Malfunction #3: The next day, more lights start malfunctioning in a different fixture. And it seems to be a slightly different malfunction. Now the lights are stuck in the wrong mode and refuse to enter sync mode or connect to the network. Again, I am stuck in a never-ending set of requests from tech support to document the malfunction. Now I am left with a resigned expectation of endless hours spent in trouble-shooting a continuous series of failed bulbs, each one only temporarily solved with the delivery of a new short-lived replacement bulb. I'm now seeing more signs that other bulbs will fail. First there is a flicker as the bulbs are slow to initialize to the proper setting. Next wifi connectivity will be slow to establish. Then it will fail entirely. Finally, it will be impossible to re-sync the lights to the app, or even to get the lights into a sync setting. These bulbs just aren't any good. I don't know if it is the software or the hardware, and tech support doesn't seem to know either. Save yourself from my fate and find a more reliable bulb.EDIT:Malfunction #4: One of the lights is now strobing. This is a new issue in a different fixture with a different bulb. Perhaps some circuit is getting fried. Clearly the lights are prone to failure, whatever the cause. I should mention that I've still only had these lights a few months.Malfunction #5: While replacing the malfunctioning light from malfunction #4, another light started to strobe. My life is a never-ending cycle of Wiz tech support and product replacement. 6 of my original 12 A19 lights have now malfunctioned in just a few months.

Love the Wiz smart home stuff
I was sent one of these Wiz lights as a bonus item from another purchase. As I had multiple smart lights from multiple different manufacturers around the house, I wasn't too thrilled about needing to download another app just to add a single light bulb, but I figured what the heck, let's give it a shot.Man, am I glad that I did. The app was much smoother and more user friendly than you find when purchasing budget smart bulbs (IYKYK). After running some comparisons, I found the Wiz light to be more responsive and have smoother dimming/color transitions than the other lights I've purchased over the years. Thus began my quest to replace all the smart lights in my house with a single manufacturer, controlled by a single app (and added to my non-Alexa smart home ecosystem). Wiz makes some cool physical buttons and wifi remotes that pair very well with their devices and has changed the way we light our home. I recommend them to anyone who wants to save some money on smart home lighting, while still maintaining simple integration and control via apps, Google, Alexa, or actual wall-mountable buttons.

Groovy
I wanted to have synchronized lighting for two lamps in my apartment living room. These lights were so easy to install, have many different features, and work as regular light bulbs when internet is down (as they require wifi to connect). My favorite aspect of these lights is the scheduling interface in the app. It is very easy to set up and have your lights turn on and off at any desired time. I especially love the night light setting that I have to turn on just as I am getting ready for bed.I had one time where my internet was down, so the lights just worked as regular light bulbs. Otherwise, they have worked perfectly without any issues. I can't speak on the Alexa integration as I do not have Alexa in my home. The range of lighting types and colors that these bulbs can display is great and you can really change the entire mood of whatever room you have them in because of that.Additionally, because the app is so easy to use, it would be easy to add more of these bulbs to my home in different rooms if I felt like it.
