Great for the price
I just replaced the identical headphones from 3 years ago. Yes, they are subject to breaking at the hinge but without a lot of abuse and near daily use they lasted 3 years and I love them. The old pair still works great but one of the hinges is starting to fall apart. For this price what you don't get is noise reduction in the microphone. Making calls works great but zero filter for background noise on your end.Music sound quality is very good and I'm very satisfied. The layout is what I love. No losing one of the buds, and you can quickly store one or both in the base. Again, not being rough with the retractors pays off in the long run. And no, I never shove these in my back pocket. Even if you don't sit on them, I doubt they would last very long with that type of stress. Why would anybody do that when the are designed to store on the neck?I like having USB-C for charging now - the old set was micro USB. You can see the battery level, at least on my Android phone. Swipe down from the top and click Media output, or in settings -- bluetooth

Good battery life a little bulk yet durable
Ear buds that can be easily lost are the least preferred so the neckband types are most suitable to preference. Some smaller profile neckbands were purchased in the past and have worked well so this was an attempt to try a little bit different style since the earbuds retract rather than those that connect magnetically to the neckband also leaving wiring exposed. There are tradeoffs. these are a bit cleaner and easier and wiring and given the retractable earbuds but they are a bit bulkier as a result and less forgiving in flexibility. They do fold for easy storage which may make traveling with them a little easier as they do come with a nice zippered case that stores the headset and the charging cable. I also like the fact that it can be used for other purposes if not for use with the headset. They are thicker to house the retractable feature so a little less forgiving in the flexibility as some of the other headsets with magnetic earbud storage. The charging connector is on the bottom of the headset. That could matter depending on your charging habits and how it may rest while being charged but not a factor here one way or the other. There are different colors (and at different prices as a result). Since I have other previous models similar in function getting used to these buttons took a little time but seems now natural to adjust to them. I do like the actual on/off switch as opposed to the type that require holding a button for a few seconds to power on and off. The latter sometimes makes it difficult to know when it's turned off or having to listen through the earbud whether it was turned on or off.The battery life seems way better than what I am accustomed to with some other models. Charging is usually done overnight or when low and a second set is alternated so length of charge doesn't cause any concerns. There are two buttons one on each side to retract each ear bud. To use just pull on the ear bud the desired length and press the button to easily retract. So far it has not failed to retract. Sometimes listening to podcasts only one ear bud is used at a time so nice that one is retracted while the other is in use.Overall I do like the functionality of this headset but do wish it was just a little less bulkier.

Easy to use, good earbud fit and sound, disappointing microphone quality
I bought this set because I am on Zoom meetings very frequently for my job and would like to both tune out my environmental noise with some type of headphone/earbud but also avoid wearing the headset with the microphone-in-front-of-the-mouth deal, which gets annoying to wear all day, doesn't look very good on camera, and also is frustrating to take off constantly and put on properly when receiving a call. I figured something like this headset where I could just pop in an earbud as needed and have something around my neck rather than my head would be great. It didn't turn out that way.The pros:-Headset comes with a nice carrying case and folds up to a size slightly larger than an eyeglasses case, and comes with a carabiner. Handy.-It connected easily with both my iPhone and my PC computer via bluetooth.-The sound quality is very good and once you try a couple sizes of earbuds and pick the right one, they stay in (though I have not tried it with vigorous exercise). For airplane travel and the like, these would probably be a very good choice.-Battery life is at least a few hours if you keep the volume to a reasonable level. The cons:-#1 is the microphone. When I started using it, my coworkers asked me what was wrong with my computer. It sounds like you are talking from the bottom of a well even though the headset is essentially resting inches from your mouth. I didn't expect better quality than an actual headset mic, but I did expect the equivalent of phone earbuds where the microphone rests on your chest. It's not even close to that. This is the primary reason that my rating is so low, as this is the primary reason I bought the headphones and they're essentially useless. I suppose I'll use them for something else eventually.-I am not sure if the length of the earbud wire is sufficient to keep the earbuds from tugging out of your ears during vigorous exercise. Again, haven't tested this, but I would think while running and the base of these headphones are bouncing around, you may have problems.I hovered between a 3 and a 4 on these but ultimately decided on a 3 because as I said, they are not functional for the purpose I bought them. If you advertise a headphone with built-in microphone for answering calls etc, you should be able to deliver in all aspects of your advertising. If you're just using these headphones for listening to audio, go for it. They're nice BT headphones at a nice price.
