but works! I really wish the case was completely clear. it makes my Mac a little heavier, and it takes more space in the computer bag now I can't even fit a portable screen. However, this is the best on the market and it definitely will protect your laptop. Don't look further, just get this one and you won't regret it.

This case fits my MacBook Pro perfectly. Time will tell how durable it is, but for now I like it. It was easy to install, though it would have been nice if the instructions made clear where the front of the top piece is--but it wasn't too hard to figure out.The pop-up feet are a nice touch.My only complaint is that I wish it came in fun colors. Black and gray are a bit boring.

First, any review that claims the bottom portion blocks the ports is not representative. That was most likely an incorrect shipment. Mine had a perfect cutout to access all ports.Now when attaching the case, the hooks softly locked into position almost automatically. I actually didn't realize they had already been secured at first. There is some wiggle to the case after it is secured, but no more than I've experienced with the more expensive brand that the Apple store sells.The 2021 MBPs have extremely sharp corners that dig into wrists. I was pleased to find that the unique design of this case handily resolved that issue. The height of the corner bezels lined up with the actual computer chassis to within a couple millimeters. Not perfect, but a still a very good job.The case hold depends on the few "hooks" that hang onto the open side of the laptop. The case does not rub up against the exterior of the laptop at all. Thus, I was not concerned at all about the case potentially scratching it. I confirmed this by taking the case off and putting it back on several times in succession and observed no dings or scratches. Note that the hooks that hold the case onto the macbook seem a little flimsy, so I would avoid being too rough when removing the case.Unfortunately, the aforementioned hooks prevent the laptop from fully closing, though it still closes enough for the laptop to go to sleep. If a perfectly sealed laptop close is crucial to you (e.g., to keep dust and other contaminants out of the interior), then do not get this case.The case does not impact the sound quality.Lastly (perhaps my favorite feature), the bottom piece has effectively a built-in stand (two little "legs" on the bottom that fold up) which elevate the laptop at the back to adjust the typing angle and allow for air circulation when on flat surfaces. I did not realize it had this feature upon purchasing and was extremely pleased by the surprise bonus! I always use it with these kickstands deployed. It is a wonderful convenience not having to carry a separate laptop stand while on the go to get that improved typing experience and ventilation.Conclusion: If you're not concerned by the 1-2mm gap when you close your laptop, then get this case. There's no competition otherwise.

Case is sturdy, fits perfectly, allows laptop to fully close and gives a nice professional look to my MacPro 14”

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this case when I ordered it. I got it today and I’m so glad I ordered it! I like to protect all of my gear so that it stays in like new condition and I can already tell this will do just that! I totally recommend it. The kickstand feet elevate the MacBook just enough to keep you from becoming a hunch back!

Should have payed up for a better one. While it clips on easy, within seconds of putting it on, it's clearly cheap plastic material and it shows, and doesn't fully fit perfectly.I got it for the stand and price. While I do like the stands, it is not an expert design because it is a little too high and actually puts you in an uncomfortable position to type with the bottom being so low in comparison.I can see what people mean by 'heavy on the hinge'. It's not going to weigh it down to where it'd ever 'tip' over the display, but it clearly will take a bit of a toll on it over time when you go to open and close it, it does weight it down.Get it if you just want a cheap cover that's easy to clip on and provide some extra protection.Looks way cheaper than the photos though, imo. Just pure plastic, like a mcdonalds toy or something.

This cover fits a 2021 MacBook Pro 14” perfectly. I have not encountered any issues regarding the laptop’s hinges working properly. Quality product that looks nice and fits well.
