The item did not work at all. I tried with 4 sockets inserting the blender plug but no power and no rotation.First, I filled up liquid half of the blender jar and locked the jar with the motor mechanism, every time it failed to rotate. Surprisingly, when I twisted to unlock the jar, it broke and separated from the blades, as a result, whole liquid of the jar messed the surface. This is completely unexpected. The product should be tested further in terms of durability and should be user friendly !!!

A heavy, glass blender which is sturdy, powerful and easy to use
I bought a small portable blender a few months ago. I found it very useful and ended up using it more than I had expected to. However, I started baking again and found that I really needed a larger blender. I chose a glass blender rather than a plastic one, feeling this would be sturdier and longer lasting. Glass is, of course, also more environmentally friendly than plastic. I also wanted a blender with a reasonably powerful motor. This blender seemed to meet my needs and was reasonably priced. I now use it a few times every week. It is great for blending ripe bananas when I make banana bread. Like my small blender, this larger blender is a bit of a pain to clean. The easiest way I have found is to half fill it with hot water, add a tiny amount of washing up liquid and then switch it on. Blend for a minute or so - you will get a lot of foam - and then empty and rinse thoroughly.

Jug made of glass so it washes and dries immediately, blender looks quite premium. If you want something for smoothies and "normal" stuff, go for it, no need to spend more on expensive ones.But... Note that this is not the most silent blender. Not a problem if you run it for 30 seconds (as normal people do), not a problem for the price.Also, don't expect it to crush ice like those blenders they have in Starbucks, this costs nothing so it may take some time to crush the ice cubes. But will crush them.
