First of all, the sound quality of these headsets is fantastic! Using these, we're able to communicate gently with one another whenbacking the trailer, docking the boat, or climbing the mast. This is so much nicer than yelling at one another (I'm sure others at the dock appreciate it too).I gave these 4 stars for comfort. It's not that their uncomfortable, they are just too large for my tiny head. They fit my husband fine, but I have to come up w/creative ways to keep them on my head when outside the helm station for fear they'll fall into the drink or down from the mast onto the deck.As far as battery life, we learned quickly that leaving the batteries installed when not use was a no-no. When we went to use them to dock our boat, the batteries were dead! BTW, this is clearly outlined in the instruction manual... Now, we remove the batteries every time we finish using the headsets. We can get 3 uses out of them before they start beeping (indicating they require charge).The cost of these were w/in our budget, so we are happy to charge them every third use.The headsets come in a very nice/ample sized storage case. The case is plenty large enough to store not just the headsets, batteries & charger, we are able to store other items in the case as well (ex: sail & cold weather gloves).It is my opinion that this a great purchase and I would definitely purchase them again.

We got these so we can communicate on the boat when coming into a dock or locks. They work great! Fantastic sound quality and range.

This was perhaps one of the best Amazon purchases made to date. The shipment arrived 3 days ahead of specified. Now that is service! I should have purchased this product first and didn't and ended with many regrets and wasted time. This product works, and works extremely well with no difficulties in paring, sound quality and comfort. Contrary to some reviews, battery life has been exceptional and recharged quickly. The sound is clear and with outstanding detail at a considerable distance. Yes, they cost more than other brands but considering all the time and money wasted to get to this purchase far out ways the initial cost, not mention the frustration! Result: outstanding product and excellent service including their email response that contained substance and non-gratuitous appreciation. Thanks Solid Sound. Kindly, 2 happy cyclists.

I use these daily on my truck. There's no background noise and they are lightweight. The batteries last for a long time

It should be a physical switch like the main.

We used these headsets for a season of football and were impressed with their range and clarity. They are simple to use and comfortable.

Use it on the boat so we don’t have to yell from here to there, just talk like we’re standing next to each other. Great thing. Marriage saver!!

I bought them to use on a sports live stream I was producing. I could communicate to my wireless camera operator easily and we had no issues with either of us hearing the other. I like the double ear, but probably didn't need them. I do feel like the double ear ones are a bit more solid, but that depends on how you take care of them too, I guess. Got extra batteries so we could do a quick switch if needed, but the batts seem to last thru the several hours of our shoot.
