Great Product
I bought my laptop a few months ago used, and was at work and spilled my drink on it by accident. it worked but the keys were sticky. order this replacement, watched a quick video on youtube and go to replacing it. Pretty easy replacement and the new keyboard works perfect.

Fixed the keyboard skipping characters problem. BUT .....
I had issues where I had to hit some keys extra hard to ensure they worked. So, I decided to replace the keyboard and get it over with. This isn't rocket science, but there are a lot of tinny screws involved. Once done, the typing issue was resolved. But now I have no keyboard backlight. I paid a bit more, so I got a backlit replacement. The backlight is one cable, and I thought I did something wrong. So I unplugged the four-pin cable and swapped it with the old keyboard, and the old one lit up. I can ask for a replacement or refund. But I'm not pulling that keyboard back out again. too many screws.

Perfect fit
Took some effort to take the computer apart but once reassembled works great!

PointStick is unusable.
If the PointStick, AKA nub, is important to you then, this not the keyboard you want. The PointStick is unusable. It takes a lot of pressure to move and it just barely moves. I made it as sensitive as possible using the Dell settings utility and it was still unusable. Otherwise, the keyboard works great. I have purchased two keyboards from different sellers. Both have the same issue. I suspect they are from the same manufacturer.

Backlight issues
Fit and function were generally good, but the backlight was yellow in certain spots. I had the same issue with another brand's keyboard, so I assume it's an issue with whatever factory is producing the units.
