InstallGear 14 Gauge Tinned OFC Heavy Duty Boat Marine Speaker Wire, 50 feet

This is real tinned (Marine Grade) OFC. Great high quality wire for my automotive project.Other reviewers saying this is CCA are incorrect. The wire is TINNED so it appears silver in colour on the outer layer for corrosion resistance. The inner strands are bare copper.The wire gauge is also true to size.I will purchase again if I need more.

the package is totally damaged when arrival. see pictures. and it's not tinted!!!! plus thete is $8.9 shipping fee! now, I have to pause my process to look for real tinted wires!

It is great speaker wire. It takes solder really quick and well. I tinned the strands with rosin core solder and rosin paste flux before I connected it to my speaker terminals and it is easy to work with. I had to argue with it to get it to flatten out, that is because it is wound on the spool too tight. Another problem, it does seem to be about 8 or 9 feet short on the spool.

Dude! one day shipping? How do they do this. This wire is soft and flexible, easy to use and 50' is just about right for my project. I ordered the 14ga. The wire is probably better than the speakers. At least the cables will still be there when I replace the speakers.

It works but I would not recommend it. I would spend a little more and get some nicer cable. When peeling the conductors apart it always peels part of the jacket off of one of the conductors exposing the wire.
