I use this daily!
I've attached this to my desktop easel. It's really nice, except that the brush holding parts are kind of loose. I put stiff cardboard on each side, and a rubber band around all of it, and now the brushes stay in.

Grips brushes reliably, mount anywhere with velcro or strap
Just what I wanted. I had looked at DIY solutions to hanging watercolor brushes with the brush part down, to dry. One, using wooden spring clothespins mounted on a board, led the pack. I tried some ideas of my own. But this is perfect.I didn't want the brushes to drip on my wood floor so I used the rubber strap to loop around the bathtub faucet. See photo. It will be easy to remove, without undoing the rubber strap, which does take a little effort---getting stubby little pegs through the holes on the strap---but not too much. (My easel is just a table top one, no legs to mount the holder to.)It comes with two pieces of stick-on velcro which I didn't try; if your easel legs are bigger than the strap will accommodate, as one person reported, just use the strips of velcro. Since peoples' painting setups vary so widely, I think a good approach is to have adaptable methods of mounting, like this does. Buy a little extra velcro, and have mounts on various locations, say if you have a studio easel and a plein aire easel. And, while mounted, the holder does rotate 360 degrees, so the brushes can be handle up or handle down or any angle in between.

Good brush holder, might not last
This brush holder does exactly what it's supposed to do. I have a foldable trunk easel, and the grip works well on it but I especially love that it comes with a velcro attachment option- that's what I use. The only thing I don't like about this product is the plastic it is made from. The plastic is super lightweight and thin, which is great for transporting, but not for someone who is rough on their art supplies...like me. I'm a plein air painter and my equipment gets a lot of mileage. I suspect the low quality plastic of this brush holder wont last for more than a year. However, it is under $20 and wasn't expecting a crazy high quality product. I will gladly use this brush holder until it breaks then go on the hunt for a higher quality or metal option. I will try to remember to update this review when the holder finally does break.Overall happy with this purchase, but would not buy again.Update: its been a little more than a year and this brush holder is still doing fantastic, I would recommend it to any beginner artists looking to add to their supplies.Update: its been 2 years and its still going strong.

It Works!
I haven’t seen another product remotely like this one on the market. It’s currently one of a kind. I stuck about ten skinny watercolor brushes into it (easy - just slide them through the box like contraption) and turn it upside down. I do recommend that perhaps the thinnest brushes should be kept with the thin brushes, not next to larger brushes. The *only* thing I can think of that would make it better would be a bracelet attachment, you know? Keep it close?Well done, inventor of this thing. It’s in my painting kit and will stay there for a long time.

Great brush hikder
Great brush holder. Holds my watercolor brushes while the holder is attached to my field easel. There is a limit to the amount of brushes it will hold before they begin to fall through the holder. Once you figure that out it’s a great device.

Well made - holds brushes
This is a perfect addition to my new portable art easel. It snuggly holds my brushes and was easy to attach to the easel. Definitely recommend!

Great way to dry brushes after use!
I use this in order to be able to dry my brushes I use in miniature painting upside down, to keep the water from settling in the ferrule on the paint brush, to help extend the life of the brushes. This is very easy to clamp onto the leg of my painting table (would also attach easily to an easel) with the heavy rubber strap. It can spin 360 degrees so easy to flip upside down. It can hold up to 8 small brushes (the size I use), but could easily hold 4-5 larger brushes for canvas painters. Well worth the money!

Not enough grip otherwise okay
Nice idea but the grip is not strong enough so brushes will slip out or in to each other, especially if you have thin brushes or put in more than 3.
