Love ❤️ This Filter
Love This filter for my 20 long tank for my Baby Stinkpot… I have about 3 inches of water and plenty of rocks and wood for him to climb on and chill… Bought refill filters also .. would buy again!!

Good, but not for hatchling turtles
Flow is too great for my Red Ear Slider hatchling. I put it in the separate feeding tank and take it out before I let him in. Keeps water clear. I'll use it when he graduates to a larger tank.

Toodles wanted it
Just what Toodles needed, his old one (identical one) failed after almost three years. Great price and decent delivery time.

Suction cups are lacking
The suction cups on this suck (or rather, don't suck). But other than that, is good.

Decent product, buy the large filters!
if you are getting filters to go with this, get the LARGE ones. they dont specify that. the recommend filters do not work. and the AI recommends medium ones and thats incorrect. get the large ones. it was easy to put together and easy to clean. its decently quiet for how big it is. i was expecting it to be smaller. but i managed to fit it well in a 40 gallon shallow tank.

It's a good filter when used correctly
I have strong confidence in the brand "Tetra". I've used it for several years with my fish. So I was a little surprised to see the warning Amazon has about it being a frequently returned item and some of the negative experiences people have had with it. I was a little skeptical, but for $13 I figured I'd take a chance on the medium (90 gph). I've never been disappointed by this brand. This turned out to be a very good choice. This little filter is perfect for the job and works surprisingly well given it's size. It was originally purchased for a much smaller 5 gallon tank. Out of necessity I had to use this in a 29 gallon fish tank (filled 1/3 of the way) for a turtle. I went away for about 3 months and came back to crystal clear water. Of course the tank still needed some cleaning, but the water was clean. I had low expectations for a filter of this size for a tank that big.I will be/have purchased the larger model (125 gph) for the bigger tank.

Very noisy
This has more noise and vibration than is tolerable. It was only quiet when tilted backwards and that was not a possible position to mount it in the turtle tank. Not worth the little bit I paid for it.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE
IMPORTANT WHEN YOU ORDER!!I think I found the reason a lot of people here say the reptofilter stopped working within days.If you are outside the US, note that this is meant for an outlet that is 115V (4W), so if you are in a country with 220V like me, you will need a transformer for the outlet. Also note that the plug is not standard US plug, one side is wider (so that the minus and plus are plugged in correctly) so you need to make sure your transformer will fit. I attached the photos of what I meanI still didn’t use it though so the rating is randomUPDATE: I used it for about 2 month now and everything is great. Also, and this is dumb but honestly there were no instructions for this - the lid wouldn’t close no matter how I tried, and then one day I realized that you are supposed to remove the little green plastic on the filter for it to fit, you’ll know what I mean because it gets in the way. So just pull that thingy off and the lid will close
