Had one before and loved it. Gave as a gift to my Dad. Great to record his boat trips, including guests aboard, weather, seas and what we did on board as well as the ports visited, time departed and arrival to the destination. He can look back at it and relive the experience as well as plans to return to certain destinations. Also lets him know what the best times to go.

We've been using this Cruising Log for years. And doing a lot of cruising.

This was a gift and recipient very pleased.

Wonderful log. We have now bought two for our boat and one for our nephew's boat. It has headings for a lot of information. There is also room for other info that you want to keep - for example we always add "ending engine hours"

I purchased the  Weems & Plath The Cruising Log  as a gift for a couple who recently purchased a sailboat. They were delighted to receive it -- and I was pleased with the quality of the log book. I look forward to signing the guest list and going for a short cruise with them! The pages of the log book have prompts and it should be fun to write brief descriptions of the trips they take -- but not too burdensome so that it would prevent it from being kept.
