It works perfectly fine
You need to make sure it fits the older version of the Hyper X Cloud II headset. The newest version isn't compatible with this, which is why a lot of people were having issues. Otherwise it fits perfectly and it works perfectly.

Great replacement for the HyperX mic. Make sure to get the correct version.
Perfect replacement for the original HyperX headset mic. If you have a child that apparently likes to chew on microphones when gaming and need to replace the mic after their gnawing, this is a great option. Works as good as the original mic. Install takes a couple seconds... just pop the old one out and push this one in. Couldn't be easier.

Not for Hyper Cloud II 2022 or later
Our puppy chewed the mic up on my son's headset. We ordered this set because it had 2 replacement mics. So if something happened to one we'd have an extra. What we failed to realize is that this mic is not compatible with the Hyper Cloud II headset year 2022 or later. So it didn't fit. I re-read the description to see if we overlooked this bit of information but I could not find anywhere that this was for an older version headset. We returned the item 12 days ago and have yet to receive a refund. I'm giving it three stars because 1. I have no idea how good it is or isn't and 2. because of the hassle of having to return it and wait for a refund.
