FlojetQuad DC Water System Pump, Bypass Included

Bit noisy but works great. Excellent replacement.

This pump was a good replacement for the stock pump that gave out after 14 years on my Bayliner boat. There is an important secret that they don't denote in the user guide that comes with the pump. Namely you can adjust the pressure switch by removing the small cap on the end of the pump and adjusting the screw you find underneath. My pump was pulsing repeatedly when the water was running and I was going to de-install it and return it when I stumbled on a web page from the UK that explained how to adjust the switch... took the cap off and experimented for about ten minutes and voila, the pump works great.

I replaced a burned out 20 year old Flo Jet Quad unit. The old fittings worked so replacing was quite easy. It even lined up with the old mounting screw holes. I then used it quite a bit during a 2 week sail and it performed flawlessly.

This part was exactly the same as the one I had in my boat. That made the job so easy.

Excellent freshwater pump to replace the original Flow Jet from 22 years ago. If I get 22 more years, this will be a bargain!

Used this to replace a broken shower pump on an ‘06 Malibu Response, the bolt pattern was different but it fit in the factory area. I’ll find out how it works when spring comes . Several “quad” fittings were included for easy plumbing, I had to get smaller ones for the 3/8 hose I had though.

Bought this in July for my boat. Install was pretty straight forward as I was replacing a similar pump. Worked fantastic till about the first of September when it wouldn’t come on. I messed with it a little and finally got it to work but the flow and pressure were way down. 2 weeks later it locked up completely. Contacted Amazon to see about a replacement and they said sorry. Would definitely not recommend or buy again

These Flojet pumps are so reliable in a 12 volt system. We (our church youth group) use these pumpse when we camp out in the mountains of PA every summer for Creation fest. Weuse one to run a shwer and another to r to 2 sinks for kitchen claenup and hand washing and ther run great all week on a sibgle deep cycle battery with no re-charging. The shower was used about 50 times a day so we ran about 200 gals a day through it for 5 days. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars was that the threads on the connectors don't seem to match up to std pipe threads, but because these are low pressure (plenty of force to the water just not like a home garden hose) we just taped them with teflon tape and gently put about 2and a half turns on the mating fittings (so nothing cracked) and they didn't leak at all. These survived numerous thunderstorms and mud being flung on them and I would recommend to anyone.
