Biatain Adhesive Foam Dressing 4 x 4"/Box of 10

I searched for a bandage made by this manufacturer containing silver to fight the infection in my ankle but this item appeared in the results. I feel I was misled to believe that this bandages also contained silver to fight infection. My search contained the brand and name of the items I bought from the medical supplier referred by my doctor. After 3 weeks of using what I bought and thinking it was the same bandage, I was back scheduling a surgery. I wish I had known that the name and product number does not assure the same item I needed. My out of pocket for medical procedures was over $6000. These bandages would have been good for an owe-ee needing protection from dirt or abrasion but they have no healing properties. My low rating is directed toward being directed to this product from the information I entered into my search. It is only too bad that the Placebo Effect did not help me.
