Beautiful set with varying opacity
I just completed my first painting with this set and I am very satisfied. The colors are vibrant, moves beautifully with water, and can also be applied thick and opaque like gouache. I squeeze out a bit from every tube and let it dry before using. I really enjoyed painting with this, and look forward to many years of use. A little goes a very long way! I bet when my three months old son gets old enough to hold a paint brush he will be using this very set :) Very glad I didn’t shell out three times the money for something with a bigger name - this is more than enough for my daily painting needs.Edit - after a few weeks of using these I am even more amazed. Combined with good paper (Arches) and decent brushes (princeton elite), I am able to paint images I was not able to achieve before. If I had only known that a good set of watercolors would make so much of a difference, I would have never wasted my time with all those cheaper sets. I mean - they’re not even cheaper by much! Actually, some of the inferior stuff is more expensive than these! This set costs less than a set of Sakura koi 48 or a Windsor Newton travel palette, but these colors are infinitely superior in performance. Of course it is because of the way I paint (heavy, heavy washes) that makes them so good. If you were using watercolor like gouache (without heavy washes, on dry paper) then maybe the difference between these and the other student grade stuff won’t be so dramatic.. but if you are truly painting WATER color, and don’t want to spend $15 on a single Daniel Smith, please do yourself a favor and get these. I am enjoying them so much and I can’t stop talking about them to all my artist friends :)Another thing - the way I use them is I get an empty palette with plastic pans, and fill the pans with every color. Then I let them sit for a day or two to dry. Then I paint. I don’t use wet paint out of the tube, because I want to achieve multiple light layers. This also eliminates waste.Edit- I really cannot believe this set is only 25 bucks! Wow!

Great beginner kit! Can dried chalky if not diluted enough
I’m a beginner at watercolor. I bought a palette pan on amazon to start off as a beginner and I love it. But I need to refilled some colors soon and didn’t want to spend on professional grade cause I’m no professional grade. My goal is to squeezed the tubes into half pan to dries out. This is my first time trying out tubes. After receiving this product and did a color swatch to compared to my previous palette pan. I find the colors are very vibrant comparable to my other Korean/Chinese brand watercolor I got on amazon as well. A lot of people concern is if the color dry chalky or not. As a beginner, at first I didn’t understand what that really meant. But I luck out with my first pan set cause the color was vibrant but not chalky at all. Now with this set, I have to be honest.. some of the reviewers said it’s not chalky. If you don’t water down the color and kept it highly on the pigmented side (less water dilution). When it dried, it have a very powdery look. I guess that’s what chalky might mean. I noticed if you dilute the color more like 50/50 it will definitely dried less powdery. Since the colors is so vibrant and rich. I don’t see why you need to use it more concentrated. Like I said, I’m a beginner so there’s no complaint from me with the product. You can’t beat it for the price.I haven’t got my half pan order yet so I’m not able to give my review on how the paint set/dry in the pan. Will update later if it crack/dry or dry semi tacky.

Beautiful pigments
Love these watercolors. The pigments are rich and beautiful. I have a number of watercolor sets and these are comparable to my Winsor Newton's which are my favorites. I'm always looking for new colors I don't have. My favorites in this set are Viridian Hue, Peacock Green, Prussian Blue, Bordeax, Red Ochre and Red Violet. Jaune Brilliant is a beautiful hue for skin tones. I think I like this one more than my Holbein because it is more transparent.Glad I purchased this set.Teresa R

Great for the price!
I bought these paintsto review on The Frugal Crafter YouTube channel after several viewers asked me to. I was skeptical that paint costing less than $1 a tube would be good but I decided to give them a try anyway. I paid under $26 for the set of 30 colors. I was really impressed with these paints. I painted the leaves and donuts with them as seen on the photos.Pros:PricePigment numbers listed on tubesVibrant colorsPaints dry down well without cracking and falling out in my palette.Paints rewet easily with the touch of a wet brushColors lift easily *they can be good for a beginner but bad for advanced artists working in multiple layers.Cons:Some pigments used are know to be fugitive (PR83, PY1, and one of the violets)Colors are a bit opaque when used at full strength making more than 3 layers of glazes problematic.Because the colors lift well it can make glazing difficult.I would rate these as a high end student paint, more vibrant that Cotman, Van Gogh or Grumbacher Academy but not a true professional artists grade but still, it's a steal of a deal and worth every penny! Happy painting!

good quality for practice or for beginners
These are not professional grade paints but they are very good for practice or for beginners. I teach watercolor painting, and I use them for lessons with good results.

ShinHan Professional Watercolor - 30 Colors to Play With!
As I've been learning watercolor, I've tried several different paint sets, from student grade to professional. I use these paints a lot, I love that the set has so many different colors and I keep returning to this set when I need a specific shade. I also enjoy using tubes, these little tube will last a long time.
