So far the fan is fine; moves air and responds to the IR control well enough. It is a little loud, but I do not think there is a solution for that. The base is stable and cost to performance is excellent. I was able to assemble it in less than 5 minutes. However, it will not work with an Amazon smart plug. In my experience Lasko fans are durable, and I expect 5 or more years of service. Cheers!

Ok, so it does have a weird hum at higher speeds but it quickly became background noise. My bed is kind of high because the head of the bed is elevated and it's perfect for that. It moves air well. It's plastic but most things manufacturered today are. If it lasts 2 years for 60 bucks, I can live with that.

The best fan I’ve had in a long time. Bigger fan size than most, excellent air flow, easy to put together. Love the adjustability & the remote is awesome. On medium speed, works better than any stand fan on high. I have 2 & I plan to buy 3 more.
