It's just what I wanted
I like the fact that I have both the outside and the inside temperature and I also really liked it. It's not digital. It reminds me of the thermometer my dad used to have.

Inside/Outside works great
Perfect for keeping track of inside/outside temps. Been using for more than a year now and no complaints. It's still working fine.

Inaccurate
Never was very accurate. Suddenly, the outside temp measuring over 100 degrees when actual temp is in the 50's. My previous indoor/outdoor thermometer by a different brand was accurate for about thirty years. This one only lasted a year, and from the beginning, a few degrees off.

Taylor Therometer
Easy to read - we love the big letters & numbers!

I use it for water and air temp.
I love this thermometer but not for its intended purpose. Rather than as an indoor-outdoor thermometer, I use it outside and water temperature by putting the outdoor probe in the pond. This is my third on as the colors fade after a few years outside.

Poor calibration
When the probe is inside the house, both temps should read the same, but they don't. There is an almost 5 degree F difference between the two. Poor calibration. You cannot return this item. Mine will be going in the trash.

Inaccurate - 2 thermometers read different temps
Out of the box, it needed some tapping (as per the instructions on the back) to "rejoin" the fluid that had separated in transit. That made the ~7 degree difference more like 5. I put it in the freezer to see if it would be any better at cold, but it was actually worse and the 5 degree difference became more like 10-15.Two stars instead of one because the "outdoor" bulb (the one with the "remote" reading) seems accurate at 70-72˚ based on my digital hvac thermostat. Too bad the "indoor" bulb reads 76˚...Submitted for replacement, will update when the new one arrives. Not optimistic.---The replacement arrived and is only off by about 1˚ at 80˚. Looks to be much better. Updated to 4* but be prepared to get a defective one before getting one that's functional.
