More Powerful Spark
The media could not be loaded. New MSD wires, New MSD Street Fire Coils, New AC Delco Spark Plugs... Truck is purring like a kitten... Can't tell if I picked up any power, but the throttle response seems more responsive & smoother... I'm pretty much happy w/everything... Took me about 2hrs to do everything... See pic & video... That No# 5 wire... Gotta keep an eye out of that zip tie breaks, the wire will rub on the steering shaft... Happy Motoring People... ✌️

Do they work? I think so...
Sooo I'll admit that I was very skeptical of these wires from the very get go. They come highly recommended from several of the car forums that I read and are a well known brand in aftermarket performance products category. MSD has been around for a long time it's not a fly by night operation here. The plugs were here in two days and were cheaper than the local automotive franchise stores. Did I mention that they are red? Bright red? Didn't initially do it for me but once they are in the engine I do have to admit that the look great - but lets be honest - you didn't justify the expensive wires just because they are "pretty."I drive a Chevy Avalanche with the V8 5.3L power plant. My truck just hit 90k miles and I wanted to preempt my 100k mile maintenance by getting an early start on some of the things that have never been changed on this vehicle. I have been running stock spark plugs and wires for 90k miles with no real feel/mileage drop (that I knew of) from the stocks. This is a big up to GM for installing reliable parts from the get go. UPS dropped off at 7pm and I couldn't wait for the install so I went outside and knocked it out. Now, I have to mention that on this truck, at least, the install is not 10 minutes for your average Joe Blow. I had the complete wires swapped in about 30 minutes but it was dark and I had no helper for my flashlight - OBVIOUSLY not ideal installation time. On my truck and on most GM's in this series the back (closest to the firewall) two plugs on either side SUCK. I ended up mauling the cables and metal shielding to get the plugs out. Be prepared with some pliers and some patience and probably some beer for good measure.I took the truck for a spin and it's probably a placebo but I FEEL like the truck is much more responsive. Better yet, I know that these wires should give my truck the help it needs for another 100k.Happy with the buy.

Works as advertised
MSD is the go-to for ignition related products. I have these ignition wires installed on my 6.0 chevy and my "79 Corvette with a 406ci swap. The throttle response on both improved as soon as I started using these wires and the startup is even faster as well. Thoroughly satisfied with the performance and function of these. Just as advertised and MSD is no joke

Must for headers
These are a must if you have aftermarket headers. End is bendable to make clearance, still would recommend heat boots as well.

Great Plugs!
Bought to replace the original wires on my 2005 Tahoe, 5.3L during a spark plug change. These wires are slightly longer than stock (I have the square coils made by MELCO in case you were wondering), but there isn't an issue with that.Only one wire was close to something else, and that was the third wire on the driver's side. It was touching the steering shaft but thankfully the boots can bend just a little bit so now it's out of the way. Don't forget a thin layer of silicone (dielectric) grease in the boots to prevent them from sticking to the plugs down the road. The heat shields on the stock wires were not transferred to these wires per the recommendation of countless people on the Tahoe/Yukon forums, as they don't need them.Only real gripe about them was that they were a little tight getting the connectors onto the MELCO coils due to the thickness of the connector but once they "click" in place you know they won't be going anywhere.

Product Selection Process is Poor
The pop-up banner empoyed to tell a user that the product is a fit or not needs better differentiation between fits and does not fit. The banner does not make a clear eye catching difference. I found a product that fit but after several other searches selected a product that did not fit. My error but the "did not fit banner" was too similar to the "fits" banner and I did not notice that I had selected a different product that was not going to work. In general I have been very satisfied with the site and product selection. I found two other MSD plug wire sets that were supposed to fit on the site but bought them from a local auto parts dealer (which confirmed the fit) only to find that they did not fit. So, I am not so sure buying auto parts that claim a fit to my car on Amazon is something I can trust.
