I initially tested the Shiseido Clarifying Cleansing Foam while I was spending time at my friend's house and hadn't brought any facial wash. She let me use this and said that she'd used it consistently for a good period of time. I didn't hold out much hope when I tried it for the first time, but as soon as I applied it to my skin, I was surprised by how fast it foamed—only a very small pea-sized amount created an incredibly rich, incredibly soft lather. The scent was comforting and not strong at all. The feeling of it on my face was lovely, and even as I rinsed it out, I could feel my skin beginning to tighten and felt wonderfully clean, without any dryness or stripping. My skin was not irritated at all. It was one of those unexpected finds that made me pause and think, "Okay, I really need this."What really got me into using it long term was hearing how much it has helped my friend over time. She informed me that her acne has fully cleared up since she began using it, and while I'm not using it for the same purpose myself, it is always nice to hear a product has stood the test of time in someone's routine. I apply it daily since I took my own tube home, and I find it really wonderful how easy and refreshing it is to add to my own skincare routine. It's like a mini reset for my skin at the end of the day. Even though it is a little costly, I do believe it is worth the price and lasts a long time. I can totally imagine going back to this one again and again.

Have at least three facial cleansers in my "beauty" drawer. This one is so different. My skin feels cleaner without feeling neither stripped or greasy. This one is a keeper.

Just a tiny amount of this works very well! Love the light fragrance and how clean my face feels after! After just a few days of using, there was a noticeable difference in how soft my face felt!

I feel like I'm getting a facial with this product. Worth the money a little dab will do it. Lasts' a long time. I will purchase this product again.
