2 inch stickers hard to sync
The media could not be loaded. I am rewriting this post. The company sent me a that to no fault of own has issues. The 2 inch tape on this 500w zinx printer has problems being read by the printer. You need to push it in and up then hold it till the lock roll stops blinking.

Handy and good quality but MUCH TOO EXPENSIVE!
I love being able to print as and when I need and without ink. Also love being able to design my own labels on the app and the quality is great. There are many downsides though.1. It is far too expensive and not at all economical for printing in large batches2. There's a lot of waste as each time you start the printer to print as it feeds off a bit of the roll which then reduces the amount of roll left for use3. It is quite annoying having to set up the WiFi connection each time. It would be great if there was a setting where it automatically recognises and connects to servers you've used before4. There aren't enough size options. The 50mm is the only size that works for my needs but it is about 5mm to wide and so I have to manually cut of 5mm from the labels after printing in order to fit onto the containers I want to apply the labels to.5. The already installed graphics are childlike and not really applicable to what i use the labels for. It would be great to have a wide selection of symbols etc. that are more professionally suited.6. The z'ink' isn't waterproofAll in all I continue to use them as I can print as many or as little as I need and I need to justify the cost of the printer itself. However, the cost is so expensive that if the prce isn't reduced soon I'll be forced to outsource my printing to a print company at a much cheaper rate.

Extortionate price!
£25 for 5m = £5 per metre! That is £1 per 20cm, so for a 5cm label that is 25p. However, that is not big! an Address on a parcel wants to be at least 7cm long and the VC500 printer leaves extra-label between each label, so a normal address will basically use about 50p worth on label. would you pay 50p per label for jars in your kitchen? I wouldn't.

Overpriced
Constant issues with printing blank labels randomly. Sticking them to glass and half of them start to peel at the ages after a week or so. The cost is utterly ridiculous, especially when the rolls are pretty short and there's a huge amount of wastage. Great concept, and the labels do look good (when they work) but currently looking at other options and will sell my printer as it's not feasible to continue using this and paying this amount for sticky labels.

Simple solution to custom labelling
Obviously you can only use these in a limited selection of printers...no ink required as the printer thermally activates impregnated colours to create images and text on the labels.
