When my cholesterol levels went up my Naturopath Doc suggested this product before having to think about statins. It worked! My numbers went back down.(I take 3 a day) I have also added Resveratrol and that helps also.Just a word of warning. I ran out of Thorne Red Yeast Rice one time and I bought another brand at a Whole Foods Market to try. It just happened that I had a blood draw while on the substitute brand, and my cholesterol was high again. Thorne is a brand I know works and I can trust! So glad Amazon carries it on Prime!So here I am a year or so later still using this product I trust and know works. You should also take a ubiquitol COq10 with this to get maximum effects. I now take a number of different natural remedies that I can count on working. Including products from Organic India. So much better than taking prescription meds with all the side effects!😵

My hubby has had high cholesterol and been on meds for at least 5 years. They gave him terrible leg cramps, increased the muscle enzymes in his legs to an alarming rate.
