Excellent aluminum clipboard, thin and light weight but sturdy.

My problem with this is I lose these a lot but quality wise, it’s sturdy and durable. I love the setup and writing on these are great.

Excellent size, not any larger than necessary for 8.5x11 documents.

I ordered this for use in nursing school and have been very pleased with the product. The weight is comparable to that of a plastic clipboard which makes it very easy to carry. The board can be thoroughly and easily cleaned. I use the hospital sanitizing wipes to clean the surface and also occasionally use some rubbing alcohol in a syringe to clean all the nooks and crannies in the hinge. The cover is great because you can set your clipboard down when not in use and keep all the information private. There is a little loop at the top of the clipboard that would allow for hanging this on the wall which, again, could be very convenient in a healthcare setting or some other environment where privacy is critical. The design allows you to keep papers tucked inside even when they aren't actually clipped in and not worry about them falling out. The hinge has a spring to keep it in the closed position but the spring is loose enough that it will stay open when you're writing instead of just slapping shut.Now, for what I would like to see changed. It would be fantastic if the front of this board could be flipped all the way around behind the board (like a spiral bound notebook) so you could have a flat surface for writing without the cover flapping in the wind. It can be a little cumbersome, especially if you are writing while standing up. It would also be nice if the cover were just a little bit stronger. To work around the issue of the cover not flipping all the way back, I often take forms out and write on the surface of the closed clipboard. The cover is pretty flimsy and moves as I write. This issue doesn't affect functionality but it is pretty annoying. An extra support at the top would be an easy fix.Overall, I'm pleased with the quality and performance of this clipboard. It serves my purpose well and, despite not being completely perfect, has been an extremely useful purchase.

Love this clipboard! Wish I knew about this one sooner as I would have gotten it a long time ago instead of the standard metal clipboard as it protects my paper pad from getting damaged or roughed up and allows me to write on the paper if pulled forward on top of the clipboard itself.

This is sturdy and well made.

I've used the Saunders Springback 16507, but every time I flipped it open the papers would fall out.I had the plastic Officemate 83303 but I broke the pencil holder on the first day.PROS-There's about a 1/4" curl around the sides of the main board that prevents your papers from sliding out; door open or closed, even if the clip somehow opens.-The "door" is spring loaded so it stay's closed when it should, but it doesn't force itself closed when it's open.CONS-Out of the box, the clip was a little loose and needed a little adjustment, but I haven't had a problem with it since.-Out of the box, the edge's of the board and door were Very Sharp, I had to file them down a little.Aside from a little tweaking, this is an awesome clipboard, great for my needs! I recommend it to anyone in any industry!

I am required to keep meticulous notes for work. Driving around all day in my work truck trying to keep paper from getting destroyed is a challenge. This is a valuable tool. Lets me write and keeps the pages covered so no matter where I put it down nothing bends, rips, crumples or gets smeared. Plus I got to act like a kid again and decorate it with sarcastic stickers from my favorite TikToker @shopchubblegum. This is very lightweight but so much tougher than the cardboard or plastic ones. There is a small lever on the clip that spins so you can lock it. So far I am thoroughly impressed.
