Where is the Green Sheep? Hardback book and plush toy boxed set Hardcover

This was one of my grandson‘s favorite books when he was a toddler. The illustrations are delightful. If you’re somebody who likes to talk about the pages in a book as you read them to a child, this is great. I just bought it for my godson first baby. The green sheep is adorable. I wish they had that when my grandson was little.

While I understand the previous low-rating review for service, I regret that the story itself was not mentioned. This is my go-to book for new baby gifts. The board book with the little green sheep stuffy are a good combo to keep a toddler sibling occupied playing hide and seek or snuggling together as a new family, reading to both little ones (see Rosemary Wells’ “Read to Your Bunny”).This story presents opportunities for introducing opposites and color recognition, and for showing reading cadence and voice inflection (“but wheeere is the GREEN sheep?”).Working in a grade school library, I read this book to my preschoolers and kindergarteners, and they enjoyjoining in on the “but where is the green sheep” every time.A really fun book to enjoy together!

I bought this book as a gift for a baby in 2004. I’ve since bought it for a nephew and a friend’s baby. In each case, several years later, I heard from the parent that it remained a favorite. I got a text today telling me so with photos of the most recent infant recipient (who is now-18 months old) paging through the book himself. Kids love it.

We like the product and have bought several Green Sheep book/toy sets over the years as gifts. This seller, however, delivered a product in which both boxes were torn, obviously opened multiple times and re-closed, and not in gift-ready condition. Very disappointing.
