WOW... A great looking piece of equipment....
I bought this in early October to replace a unit that had been damaged in an accident at the airport.. As a working musician I travel a lot, and a lot of people see my equipment.. If it doesn't look good, then I don't look good, and I don't get a second chance, to make a good, first impression..! I have gotten many compliments about my "Road Case" and the equipment I have in it.! It's well built, has secured corners, and several lock units on each side.! That is very important to me.! The last thing I want, is to show up at a concert venue, and find my road case empty, and my 5,000 watt p.a. amp stolen..! This case is well built, secure, and very good looking.! All this, and it has enough space inside for my P.A. amp, my stage monitor amp, a parts drawer, and I have a 24 track digital mixer on top.! ( And I still have a few rack spaces left.) Like I said, I bought it in early Oct, used it for a holloween gig, a couple Christmas Parties, and a new years eve gig, so far.. Every One likes it.. Except the guy who has to has to load it in and out of the truck.!! It's a little on the hefty side, when it's empty, so when it's loaded down with gear, it's got a few pounds in it..! But with the big wheels it rolls nicely on stage, and up the ramp, in to the truck... Over all, I'm happy with it.! Other members of our band said to get the 16 space, "buy more than you need, you'll fill it up.!" they said... But I'm glad I got this one.! It's not too big and not too heavy, and it holds everything I need to put in it.! This was / is agood buy, and I recemend it to all my musician friends..!

Exceeded my expectations!
Completely exceeded my expectations. I'm sorry others had bad results with this unit, I most certainly did not. It is, as others have said, not the most robust build the world has ever seen. But it will definitely hold my gear safely and securely for the type of shows my band plays, mostly local clubs. I would buy this again and I definitely recommend it if you have looked at these cabinets and thought about the $600+ Gator unit. Save some money, get this one.

Great case at a really good price.
This case is very good quality, despite the low cost. It is sturdy and exactly as advertised. You will have to assemble the wheel plate when you receive it, but this is not difficult. The 12U spaces do include the top which comes with a blank plate. If your mixer is deep it will extend into the space making this a 11U rack.My only issues (and it is minor) is the back door. It works fine but you cant put pressure on it while closed or it will collapse in a bit. I will add corner stops in the future to prevent the door from being able to close inward more than flush with the case wall.I highly recommend this case if you need something in this configuration. One nice feature not mentioned in the description: The locking front wheels actually lock from rotating and spinning so the case stays where you place it.

Decent Sound Rack, Build-on What you need
We bought this rack for the capacity it offers, and for the durability it appears to offer, removable panels and wheel base. It seemed economic given its size and listed features. The panels are constructed of light gauge plywood, and on ours, one side panel is a little warped, so it takes a little work to latch down the top panel in order to get the bracket to align properly. There is no top shelf that comes with the rack, as one would otherwise assume based on the photographs, and nowhere to mount one. I took apart the angled braces that stuck out the top for the "slant mixer" shelf, re-orientated the braces to make them level with the top, drilled a couple new holes through them, and cut and installed a piece of birch plywood as a top shelf to hold our mixer, which seems to work fine. There is no internal side or back rails to anchor to, so I improvised and screwed in a couple wooden lawn stakes on the interior to screw the rear brackets of our speaker amp to. The cabinet comes with spare component mounting screws though, so you don't need to purchase others. The only other thing that would make this cabinet better, would be a back cover. The back is wide open and obviously offers no weather protection during transportation. The cabinet has a set of two handles on opposite sides, which is a necessity given the weight of a loaded cabinet, the more carriers the better.

Outstanding Product
Purchased this a week ago to build a portable sound system for church. It was perfect! Well made, plenty of room. Sturdy rack. I had a question prior to purchasing it and Seismic Audio responded right away and answered my question. Very good customer service

You get what you pay for!
Like many other reviewers have said, this is not the cadillac of rack cases. About the only touring this thing is likely to do is from your unpacking it to the house. Fresh out of the box it looks great. Closer inspection gives me pause about its usability long-term. It was a snap to put the wheels on and all the latches are aligned great. It is not well reinforced and while I have not fully loaded it yet, there is no way half-way racked out that I would feel comfortable with two people lifting hundreds of dollars of gear into the truck bed as I am afraid it may either come apart or the handles pop out. It just seems flimsy. The rails and screws were included, of course, however, not all the holes exactly align. In fact, after putting in 5 different rack-mountable pieces of gear, I was frustrated, as not once did the holes exactly fit the stanchions on the rack mountable gear exactly. I had to fiddle with the screws but ultimately took out the drill and an oxide bit and got to work. Everything is screwed in now. Two of the wheel casters had bent supports where you screw them into the bottom of the case, but I got it to work. If your on the road or on the go with your gear frequently, spend the extra bucks to get a more substantial case. You will worry less and focus on your show more.

Lasted a full tour season--still going strong!
We are a nationally touring band and have taken this thing, fully loaded, on every trip. Load in, load out, it's been sturdy and durable time and time again! Highly recommend!
