Valor FitnessEX-2 Preacher Curl Bench Attachment For Use W/Valor Fitness Benches Only

My Marcy bench was nearly perfect but for a lack of a preacher pad attachment. No add-on available from Marcy. Found this and it is precisely what I need. Really appreciate all of the specs and measurements - down to the stopper hole diameter and spacing - were available prior to ordering so one can order with confidence.

It works fine but the quality is less than desirable kinda cheaply made (China) serves the purpose though. Has a decent bar rest too.

One of the funny things I have found about fitness products lately is the fact that they are built cheaply. This creates a problem when we train hard, in one case I had a roman chair device seat break in half during use. This was after a few days of use, and I found out the board used was less then an quarter inch thick. In this objects case as it was a "blind" purchase I was concerned. However upon building it, and playing with it for a while I can appreciate the construction of the elements is well done. If there is a complaint to be had, the paint on the rest does not adhere well. That said, it does not effect my use one wit. A good product professionally shipped and built, I would purchase from this company again.

If your bench’s attached tube is 2x2 it will fit like a glove! The preacher pad is nice and wide and not narrow like my previous one. Excellent product!

Since the center of balance is in the middle of your EZ bar, this will drive you nuts because you must load plates at the same time or the bar will just tip right off. Also, the bar rest was too close for me (I'm 6'2" and I have a standard 72" wing span). Essentially, I'm too tall for this to work effectively and comfortably.

Very nice piece of equipment. The only problem was that it was missing a bolt. The instruction manual listed the size and a quick trip to the hardware store solved the issue. Works well with the DD-4 bench and I have no other complaints.

Where you hold the bar is where it sits ,smash your fingers eveytime ,save your self time and money ,garbage garbage ,,and don't ask for refund, yiu won't get it

It is a solid product and good enough for use. The only thing I wish is that it had thicker or firmer padding but it is still doable. I'm using it in a body solid bench so it wobbles somewhat. However, I will eventually get around to 3D printing a little square surround adapter so it doesn't wobble. As some already mentioned, you will have to tie or weight down the other side of the bench, if you lift heavy, so it doesn't fly up when you rack your bar on the holder. I think I might also wrap the holder with some tennis racket tape or similar to prevent the bar from scratching the holder surface. I can tell all the powder coating will be removed after repeated racks on that holder.
