Rocky 6-Film Collection (4K Ultra HD + Digital) [4K UHD]

This is it. The audio track options, the commentary, the extras, the video transfers... this is as good as this series will ever be, and it's as good as it will ever need to be.Good Lord is Rocky II grainy, by the way.

Love the seriesHad to get the 4k pack

This movie is suppose to be all the Rocky films in 4k along with a digital 4k. The original Rocky 4k box only had the first 4 films. First the discs are not restorations they are only 4k scans which are not much better, if at all, from the blu ray box. If you have the blu ray set stay put, this is a waste of money. Second, the digital code does not work. It’s not expired it simply is not offered. You put in the code it will read success but then as you to enter the title. When you try to put the title in an error message pops up. Warner Brothers has known about this flaw and have yet to correct it, so if you want Rocky on digital in substandard 4k you won’t find it here yet! WB claim that former Vudu and now Fandango have all the films in 4k, but still have yet to fix the problem and they state clearly on their site “under no circumstances will they provide a copy of the digital PERIOD”. They said not to try and enter it, because if you do you’ll likely not get all the films on digital. They claim to be working on the issue, but this is a huge problem for a very expensive box set. If you have the blu ray box the only reason to upgrade is for the different cut of Rocky 4, which was much to do about noting imo. Write WB digital before an attempt to purchase if you want the digital. If you just want the 4k physical copies and don’t yet own any of them you can likely find a better deal on the Blu Ray box which are pretty much the equivalent. The same issue with the physical 4k Rambo films. They are 4k scans and not the quality of a restoration. Both the franchises deserve better restorations than what is currently available. Doubtful I’ll see a full on restoration any time soon. Sad for hardcore Rocky/Stallone fans🤷🏻

So this review is nothing to do with the movies, they are awesome.The problem is the black 4k case. If you look through reviews you will see many people have had this problem. It looks to be that every case does not seem to be cured properly. It leaves a fog that is more airborne that direct contact.Even if you clean the case, the fog or vapor comes back very quickly.If you are buying this set, I would seriously consider having a replacement case for 7 disc.Over time this fog has been known to damage discs and eat through them. At one point you will not be able to wipe off the discs and they will damaged and not be watchable.Keep this in mind when purchasing.

The digital copy worked right away. This 4k set was better than I expected. I was surprised. The low reviews on here are not accurate in my opinion. Maybe the digital code was just not working before but it worked fine for me. The picture quality is very good, the rambo moves were also great quality in 4k . For a sylvester stallone fan or a fan of moves in general this was a good addition to my movie collection.

Warner Bros and Vudu messed up by not having the code work day one why release a code if it can not redeemed. Took them forever but the code finally worked. Transfers on disc were good but this set lacks on special features for a great franchise.
