A true Yerba set. I used to travel regularly to South America and theses are the norm there in many places. Shipping was ok, the item arrived on time. You will need to buy the Yerba leaves separately that go into the Yerba but they are easily found on Amazon. This is a good alternative for caffeine compared to the way it is usually served in North America. The item takes a bit of adjustment to use daily but it works well and delivers a healthy amount of caffeine when needed in my opinion. Overall good item that works as designed

Whether I'm with my companions at home or hiking in the wilderness, I can be sure this cup will be suitable. The (straw) included in the set is equally impressive. Made from high-quality materials, it feels sturdy in the hand and has a fine mesh filter at the bottom to prevent any loose leaf debris from getting into my mouth super easy to clean and use and drink out of a great size for a beginner

I'm not an expert on yerba mate, but I've had it a few times, in a few ways, and this seems to be a pretty solid, if basic, gourd and functional bombilla. The container for storing and dispensing the mate is a nice touch, if a bit cheap feeling, but I'd never seen the strange screen/insert that nests inside the gourd before, nor the item that seems to be described as a "shaver," which according to the manufacturer's demonstration seems to be for tamping the mate in place, stirring, or scraping it out when done. I mostly just use the gourd and bombilla, with the extra bits resting comfortably in my kitchen's junk drawer. I can't really complain about getting too many parts or accessories at this price; maybe I'll discover more use for the screen later on. Only other gripe would be that this specific model is on the small side for a gourd, but I don't personally mind, and the size is communicated pretty clearly. Other sizes are available from the same company.

This is a very nice quality Yerba mate set. Everything in the set appears well made. If you are new to drinking Yerba mate the traditional way, this set has everything you need except the kettle, water and yerba mate! While the gourd (cup) and bombilla (straw) are the essential parts of the set, my favorite inclusion is the flat tea strainer to corral the tea leaves on one side of the cup. Makes it so much easier to sip through the bombilla. The tea canister is great because the spout on top makes is handy to pour the Yerba mate leaves into the gourd. The top flips open and closed like a very large salt container. The gourd is double walled aluminum so it keeps your Yerba mate warmer for longer, but not as long (or as constantly hot) as a closed thermos - stays warm, but will still cool off over time. Super easy to clean especially with the enclosed straw brush. Comes inside a cylindrical container which is a great place to store all the other pieces of your kit once the tea caddy is filled with yerba mate. Happy sipping!

I got this for my partner who had one the gourd style set from long ago. He really enjoys Yerba Mate, so I thought I would get this for him. He really loved it and explained how this is a very high quality Yerba Mate Cup Set. He loves how the cup or 'mate' is made out of aluminum. But what he likes the most is that the storage container has a spout on it, like a salt container. He mentioned that this makes it much easier to pour the tea into the cup. Overall, he is very pleased with it.

Matches my decor perfectly but mine didn't come with any instructions on how to put all the pieces together and make it work properly for brewing the tea, after an hour of browsing on youtube and tiktok I figured out how to use it and now that I got the hang of it I really like it.
